I'm sorry. If Skyrim doesn't have violin hair, I'm just not buying it. *nods*

I would love to see more variety as well. Would be nice to see some basic cloth physics applied to hair, but I doubt that will happen. I'd like to do big braid down my back, or the ever so famous square cut black mane. How about a big mop of curly hair. Nothing modern in the slightest. I don't want to see GQ nords running about, or Bieber-esque Bretons. A smidge more rugged. Would be nice to see some great styles for female hair as well, but I would keep it period appropriate if it were me. Like some old Greek, or Sumerian styles. Just my 2.5 cents (inflation).

Was I the only one who thought the bun and ponytail were among the better hair styles?

Nope, pretty much the only ones I use.

Since we are talking about hair: I hope we can change it in-game this time.

Everyone(i speek for everyone) wants modern hairstyles!

Well then you are sadly mistaken, aren't you?
I don't want modern hairstyles.

No you sure weren't. Furthermore, the hairstyles weren't bad, it was the variety that lacked. We're well on in game history since 2006 and the standards for such things are much much higher. Beth tends to one-up or two-up it's competition, I'm not worried about these kind of details at all.

Exactly, I would of really liked far more hairstyles.

As long as were talking about better hair styles, then I feel I must bring up(since they are bringing facial hair into this game) a good looking selection
of beards.

Agreed, I was thinking the other night, and was like 'what if they only give us stubble, moustache and beard'. I doubt they will, but there's a small chance.

Agreed.

I alway go for the long hair style the regular pony was the longest hair I could pick. It would be great to have real untied long hair though.

I hope there are atleast 20 hair styles...10 for men and 10 for women, all interchangeable. I always play as a female and in oblivion my female breton was better looking than any NPC I ever saw, except for her ugly french braid! I want to see some varity, and each race should have a unique hair style just for them...something to do with their culture.

Hair physics are not happening.

I don't think that's been confirmed yet, unless someone asked Bethesda "Will there be hair physics?" and the answer was "No." without me knowing. Granted, I don't EXPECT to see them, but without getting an official word on the matter, or seeing a video which clearly shows a lack of hair physics, we can't really say that for certain one way or another.

Honestly, though, I didn't mind the look of the hair styles in Oblivion that much, it's not like I expected to be able to give my character hair that looks like a Final Fantasy character here, but I would like more variety, of course, though it should be kept to styles that fit the feel of the world, so no modern hair styles or anything that couldn't be achieved without using a ridiculous amount of hair gel.

I'd like more variety (and length especially), but not any styles which could be considered "modern" or "edgy" - it would look weird to have people walking round Skyrim with an asymmetric emo-bob.
