Hairy, hairy men!

Post » Wed Feb 02, 2011 1:29 am

I like my character to be a reflection of myself. Seeing as how I am not some shaved metrosixual sissy boy, but a hairy man as nature intended, it would be nice if my character looked the same, and not like a prepubasent boy.

Aye!

All I could play in Oblivion were metrosixual pussies. In Skyrim I want at least the Nords to look like actual men. Well, not the Nord women of course, but you get my point.

Where?? let me at them... Damn it, first female dragons, then Khajjit on all fours now this.

The option to personalise your character in lots of ways is a good thing, so sure why not.

i dont know if you really mean this but if you do then i vote no, but i want them to have more hair in general

It was just a comparison. :)
Still, if someone wants, why not? :P
I'll make mine have some medium chest hair actually and standard beard if possible (just like I do in real life).

As long as the hair isn't as ridicioulsy un-detailed as in this picture: http://www.gamer-uk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Fire-Blast.jpg

LoL, that troll actually looks as if he was shouting 'I'm on fire, hear me roar!' XD

That's why you should play as a human, elves are effete as a rule  .

I will never accept that stereotype. D:
Elves are awesome (especially Dark Elves), but I will never accept that they have to look alike half-women people.
Also, Bethesda is always trying to make their stuff unique.
Well, here some material for them. x)

What's wrong with hair?
It's perfectly natural (way more natural than no hair actually).
Also, no one would force you to have it.
It's purely visual detail.

They should at least have the option in character customization for more hair.

I voted no, because I tend to play female characters. Although I've got nothing against the option for hairy characters, I wouldn't use it I reckon. I'd love it if we could get longer hair though (for our heads - although a healthy flowing beard on a man would be great too!)

I'd just like to remind you, that I can't recall a single case of a facial hair in the previous game. That's pretty bad and, well... Unrealistic. Then again, looking at the amazing abundance of facial hair-age in Fallouts eases my mind. Go Bethesda!

There were some faces in Morrowind that had facial hair, including one Dunmer face with an awesome little curled beard.
As for more hair in Skyrim, I'm just happy we have beards now, I don't really mind if there's adjustable chest hair etc.

I'm highly evolved, so I have little to no hair throughout my body. If body hair is in I hope you can toggle it.

With my Khajiit, this could probably take furry fandom to a whole new level...

I.... I can't believe it, but something has disturbed me more than my first visit to ED....

I like me some hairy men. Yes I do.
But as far as videogame characters, don't care.

I've always seen all vikings with thick beards, hairy arms and hairy legs, (even though that can be a common misconception) and since this game is portraying that sort of person I would like to make my guy be able to have all that hair or not.

A little hair yes
pormo hair no

This raises questions to me, but it's probably best left unqueried...

I think a slider will do the trick

See maybe for you its natural, but people who come from warm places are usually not particularly hairy. I grow just a bit of facial hair and nothin on my body.

Lol

And if you don't activate a sink each day you get "Hairiness added" message, and the buffs and nerfs increase

Khajiit get frost immunity except for the tail.
Hope nobody win a body hair competition against a Khajiit, at least not in the female league. :trophy:

I dunno, I'm Spanish and for most men here in the warm meditarranean rim plentiful hair is the norm - arms, chest, beard :D

Anyway, I'd love to see this ingame as a customisable feature so that both us who want it in as well as those who don't are satisfied. (Beards are already a given really, but chest hair shouldn't be neglected... I'd even like to customise arm hair, but I think that's stretching it for now  )
