Hairy, hairy men!

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 9:40 pm

Title says it all, more or less.
Make men in Skyrim hairy to the point where Polar bears will be envious.
And not only Nord, but other races too.
I play Dunmer race every time, but am kinda annoyed by the fact that they look smooth as baby but.
Don't wish too look as one of those twilight brats or that abortion know as justin b...something, but as real men.
Of course, this should be only optional so some people who don't like hair can play with their baby bird men. :P
And this is not limited only to one part of hair, but all (arms, legs, chest, back, facial hair, etc.).

Well... If they do input... hair... I suppose it should be changeable in character creation, because as far as I'm concerned, I would only want a little bit of hair on my character's body... if any.

I'd approve of having the option of adding body hair. It would be cool to have a big barbarian Nord with chest hair, or maybe a female with some leg hair. I'd still like the option to be relatively hairless as well though.

It depends on the race.

...In Morrowind, Nords have some decent torso hairs.

And seing a Barbarian Nord without a single hair would make him look like an metrosixual...or something like that.........except if it Connan,...but even than, we can make fun that he's a complexed barbarian...

Yea, hairless womens is impossible, by nature...so why not make them have some?

Hell yes! That perfectly realistic and awesome. Also it would add more attitude to your character, and to be perfectly honest: That's the kind of little graphical tweaks and improvements that I'm in a sense looking for.

Ah, I can't forget masculinity! It would make my character so much more masculine... Like a masculine baby man.

As a Khajiit my character will be covered in fur. I can't say I'd want a particularly hairy character of another race though. It's just not appealing to me. If I don't shave my face I feel extremely dirty all day.

I like my character to be a reflection of myself. Seeing as how I am not some shaved metrosixual sissy boy, but a hairy man as nature intended, it would be nice if my character looked the same, and not like a prepubasent boy.

and Sheogorath said, "Let there be beards!" and the women and children had beards. Manly men continued to have none.

I'd prefer it to be race based. Nords and Imperials beings the hairiest and then maybe bretons and Orcs. Mer should have little or none while Khajiit could have more or less of a mane, and Argonians would have adjustable spines or horns as in Oblivion with more variety, I hope.

Peace, +Petrose

So long as I can make body-hair free characters, I don't mind overly much what the NPCs look like. :b

I'd just like to remind you, that I can't recall a single case of a facial hair in the previous game. That's pretty bad and, well... Unrealistic. Then again, looking at the amazing abundance of facial hair-age in Fallouts eases my mind. Go Bethesda!

How about hairy, hairy women.

From the movie LOTR Return of the King, Gimli:

It's the Dwarves that go swimming with little, hairy women. [burps]

On second thought maybe not. Some beards on the men is enough. more hair does not seem particularly necessary.

Yes PLEASE, I'm sick of my males having an unnatural absence of any chest hair whatsoever. A little hair is necessary; a lot of it is expected given the climactic conditions. Don't go overbaord but hell, give us some fuzz at the very least  Ideally, allow us a slider to decide the amount ourselves.

Also, recall what the late ( :cryvaultboy: ) Volanaro of the Bruma Maged Guild chapter had to say about the topic before his untimely demise:
"It's a little too rugged up here for me. Add a couple hairs to a Nord and you've got a Bear."

I want a nord that actually has chest hair and doesn't look like he walked off a new Arnold movie set complete with body waxing and a tan.
