Decided to reinstall Half-Life for the first time in a while. Decided to download mods for it for the first time amd have only been having problems. I can access all of the mods through the custom games option, but as soon as I try to run it a notice pops up saying it can't load the library. This happens for they hunger, night at the office, basically anything that's not xeno project - the only one that works. Not quite sure what to do. At first I thought it might simply be my vista being vista, but I looked around a bit and other's weren't having the problems I was. Any suggetions? Also, if I can get this problem figured out, any recommendations on good or interesting mods would be appreciated.

If it helps I have the the game of the year cd, not the steam version.

http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/MINERVA is very good. There aren't many single player story mods out there, but this is one and it's very good. The guy who made it was hired by Valve for HL Episode 3.

I suggest "The Specialists" and "Sven Coop".
