What are you guys doing for halloween?

I have been working a haunted house since the start of October on the weekends.

My son's on a big Power Ranger kick at the moment, so he's going as the blue Power Ranger from Megaforce (I guess he can't be Batman every year...) We're going to see if he gets the concept this time out. Last year he had a blast going around to houses and getting candy, but hadn't quite grokked the wearing a costume part.

I have to work on the 31st, and I have evening shifts but the classy shopping center in town is doing a Trick or Treat thing on the 28th so I'm taking him to that at least. Worst part of having a job in retail is that the days most everyone else has a Holiday are like the busiest days for us. Normally we can shift things around - my son doesn't care if we don't always celebrate Christmas the same day every year, and we can have family over on days everyone can make it. But Halloween is one of those things where if you can't make plans for the day of, you're kind of going to miss it. We don't want to be one of those weird families that takes their kids around the weekend before by himself.
