Im not a halo fan anymore, im not gonna buy the game, but hey, those live action trailers are amazing. Are those what you get instead of cinematic?

They don't have a live action trailer for every game, seems to be only for ODST and Reach so far. Usually it's a cinematic.

Is it legal to give away beta codes? It's not for Blizzard Entertainment for Cataclysm Beta..

Don't worry, give me one and I'll totally bust you outta jail. Also, some sites are giving them away so I'm sure Bungie don't mind.

@ Fallout3Newbie You do know you get the code for free on Monday? How much did it cost on ebay?

I'm just waiting till Monday, I'll be using my ODST disk and I'm gonna give my code to a friend.

Edit: I'm all up for Reach on Monday.
I got one on eBay for 10$, I just couldn't wait any longer to play it. But yeah, we should definitely play.

I just completely owned in headhunter, I won the match and collected a total of 32 skulls, it was pretty sad cuz the person in 2nd only got 11.

Note: When you guys get the beta, be SURE to use sprinting in headhunter, ALWAYS.

Armor lock, cloak, jetpack, evade(elite only).

There might possibly be more armor abilities in the full game.

How long can you cloak for? And what does armor lock do again?

Hmm.. I don't know exactly but I'd say... 10-15 seconds, maybe longer. Armor lock is where you're invincible for about 5 seconds but can't move, and you can let go of LB anytime to get out of it, but if you wait the full 5 seconds you'll release an EMP that temporarily disables vehicles and depletes shields.

Sweet. I can see the manual invis being handy when I'm hiding. (HLG) :hehe:
I'm guessing it recharges?

Yes it does, every AA recharges. Sadly, cloaking jams your enemy's radar(including your radar) so people will know your around when cloak is turned on.

I'm guessing it's sorta like scrambler in MW2.. A good counter since you'll know that someone just cloaked near you.

I loved the BR but so did the majority of the Halo 3 community.
The DMR is a great replacement though, will be fun to master.

I liked the BR too, but it was so overpowered. I love the DMR though just because it's not nearly as powerful as the BR and it takes alot more skill.

Beta today, yay!!! :D

Does anyone know for sure about what time it's supposed to go live? I've heard "early Monday morning, PDT" and "Late Monday morning" thrown about but never an actual time.

They never said. But they said they was defiantly going to let you know the second it goes on. I can't wait, I was sitting there watching TV and then I'm all like "OH MY GOD IT'S TODAY!" and then I jumped up to find the remote, get a pepsi, and some Slim Jims. Then I figured out I couldn't play it yet. Lol.

I shall be sad to see it go...I spent countless hours perfecting my strafe, and now it's gone :(

But hey, I'm really looking forward to using the DMR. Only around 2hrs to go now :) It's released at around 6pm in the UK. So I'll have time to get some dinner and pringles!

I look forward to playing you guys :)
