Well... actually, Lady N, there is a city known as Dragontail (though, it's only referenced in Daggerfall, far as I know).

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Dragontail It wouldn't exactly be a true Orc city, though; the population is mostly a mix of Orcs and Redguards.

Maybe this a little dumb question, but it seems I can't use any download link through TES Alliance because is not grant me access to the sites download manager. Must I join the forum first or I missing something here.

Thank for the update Lady Nerevar. :celebration:

Yes, one must register to download from TESA just like most other mod hosting sites.

Okay, I understand and thanks Arthmoor for your quick reply. :)

Just for reference on Nexus you don't have to become a member if you download a file smaller than 2 Gb.

The closest thing in the Hammerfell mod would probably be Dragonstar, up in the north of the province. Perhaps the place got renamed since Daggerfall?

Dragonstar has been around since Arena (iirc), so nope. Daggerfall (the game) just had a preposterous amount of area to play with, hence they had states with dozens of cities big cities. Its not physically possible to represent all of them in game, so important locations will be converted into smaller areas. I don't think Dragontail constitutes an important location (as it is not mentioned in lore), so its role as a orc-heavy city will be transfered someplace else. Skaven was planed with a higher than average Orc population, for instance.

I think you mean MB, as Nexus doesn't host 2 gigabyte files :P My file comes in at 150 MB 7zip'd, so you have to register either way.

I've started the 1.01 upload at Nexus, it should be up in about 30 minutes. 1.01 is now up at TES Nexus.

Thanks again to everyone who downloaded, commented on, and endorsed the mod. Your support means a lot to me :) So if you like the mod, please endorse it :)

Well, that's fair. Hammerfell and Redguard culture already gives enough work I guess. Besides, I don't know if there's enough lore of the Orc culture as to create a *native* Orc-themed city (although Orcrest in Elsweyr gives a very interesting (and well done) approach).

Anyway, keep up the good work!

This has a major glitch with UL: Beaches of Cyrodiil. I don't know if it is fixable even....without some major grunt work.

Lady N: can one see (VWD) Cyrodiil from Hammerfell and vice versa? How about entering Cyrodiil from Hammerfell (and vice versa) without going through a loading screen?

It's in a separate worldspace, so you're going to get a loading screen.

An idea/suggestion/"can-it-be-done?": To put some way of teleporting when in the sea, from Tamriel wordspace sea to the equivalent point in Hammerfell world sea, in order to be able to navigate to Hammerfell with Side's Sailing Ships.

Could it be possible? (I guess that with OBSE 18/19, everything is possible :D ).

While it would certainly be possible, it would need to be designed specifically for the Side's Sailing Ships mod, dependent on both Hammerfell ESM and the Sailing Ships ESP, as it would need to reference the ship meshes to be able to transfer them. Perhaps the author of the Sailing Ships mod (Side, presumably?) would agree to create such an addon.

Yes to VWD, and even some close up stuff (namely, Rihad can be seen from Fort Brena in Cyrodiil). Entering requires a load screen though.

What's the nature of conflict with Battlethorn castle? Could someone shoot a pic?

When I think about it, maybe I'll remove it since I don't use it if the conflict is too bad.

Any ideas?

Have you tried loading the esm file right after the Oblivion.esm and the esp file as the first esp in the load order?

I have not tired the new release but for me the old one was load order dependent.

Cheers!

Land tearing along the road leading up to the border crossing, cutting into where the castle is positioned. Assuming the borders ESP is not going to be modified further, then patches for it can start being considered.

I have installed it and went to Fort Brena. I liked the road very much! Last part was a bit too steep but nevermind. Unfortunately, it was foggy so I haven't had nice view. The road was exciting in my opinion, if that makes any sense to others. I felt like it really is a dangerous road to other country. It was fun to see herd of gnus chased by a pack of hyenas (both from WAC mod).
The quest in the inn (still haven't finished it) seems a bit too journal suggestive. At least the part I've done. I think that it would be good to give player a chance to figure it out himself/herself.

Now I'm off to TES4Edit Red dog camp out of WAC.esp and proceed to Hammerfell!

Arthmoor, was there some tool that fixed land tears or I mixed up something?

Thx for the answer, man :) I've already posted the proposition to Side.

You can try Land Magic, but that's really only a stopgap measure since it can't fix things in any meaningful way beyond sealing up the tears.

Unless someone finds errors within the border esp, it should be the final version. Arthmoor, do you want to make patches, or should I try?

Where is this Fort Brena everyone keeps talking about?

Lady N: Would you ever consider making a patch for Sutch Reborn? It is right across from Rihad...
