Handheld Heroes PAX East 2011 coverage of Brink

Post » Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:05 am

We were lucky to get a hands on demo of Brink and love it. Me being the console gamer and my colleague Kimerex a PC gamer as well as a long time follower of Splash Damage did pretty well (He came in 1st overall and I was 5th). We actually got to sit down with Ed Stern of Splash Damage and have a candid talk with him.

You can read some of it http://handheldheroes.net/2011/03/herocast-at-pax-east-day-two/ and http://handheldheroes.net/2011/03/herocast-at-pax-east-2011-day-three/

Can't wait for Brink to be released and to see all of you out there.

I always have more fun reading first impressions like what you have written than the dry factual stuff that some others write. Good stuff.

Thanks for all the praise on our article guys! We try hard not to fall into the tropes that the bigger media outlets always fall into. We know that people can find fact sheets about the details of the game of choice, but getting personal with the people behind the game about the process and daily adventures they had with it is much more interesting and makes you feel that connection to them more so than a fact sheet
