Happy Birthday, Oblivion!

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 6:45 am

I noticed that this has gone without recognition, and I would like to give Oblivion a Happy Birthday! On the 20th of March 2006, Oblivion was released.
We've all had our ups and downs with this game; crashes, beating seemingly impossible quests and seeing the graphics for the first time.

So share, what is your most memorable moment with this game?
Mine would have to be seeing my cousin play the game at the start of 2007 and buying a horse. I remember that being amazing, and then travelling through the countryside. I knew I wanted this game, and once I got it I was the happiest boy alive.

Hasn't gone without recognition, take a look at this other thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1174824-happy-5th-birthday-oblivion/ over in the skyrim section.
But yeah, happy birthday Oblivion.

No idea, seems better in the Oblivion section, although there is more traffic in the skyrim section of late.

As far as I'm concerned that's yet another reason not to have it in the Skyrim section. People post so much in so many threads there, it actually takes work to follow a thread.

Wow! 5 years old already, just like my daughter. I must have spend about 2500 hours playing this game, the rest I just wasted :(

Happy birthday Oblivion!!!

It was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls series and it still is probably the game I played the most in all my life!

Thanks to Bethesda for giving me another world to live another life. :tes:
