Happy easter!

Easter was such a special time for me when i was a kid. My mom/the easter bunny used to hide SNES games in my living room.

No candy for me, but I will nibble on my cache of premium 70%+ cacao-content chocolate. Will probably spend some time outside today, it is nice and sunny and warm.

I got way too much since my family is religious. Both my significant other and I are agnostic, so our gifts were just little exchanges we do for every holiday we don't really have any care for (throw in valentines day, fourth of july, etc as the ones we're indifferent toward).

But as a wrap-up from family: Two chocolate bunnies, a box of chocolate, case of gummi peter rabbit candies, chocolate pocky, strawberry pocky, and a book on Catherine of Aragon.

The latter is certainly the best bit

I went to the sunrise mass as I do every year, and I got all the candy collected and bought all the stuff and laid it out on the table so that's nice

I'm actually the one who goes out and buys the easter chocolates, baskets and peeps every year, but my mom bought a few things this year so I'm looking forward to seeing what she snuck in there when I was done making them. My brother'll be coming over to have an Easter Dinner with us and that's when we decided to open the easter baskets

If it wasn't for the couple of days off work, I wouldn't have even been aware it was Easter. Just another Sunday for me.
