I'm feeling too tired and grumpy to welcome the new year. It's not like its predecessor set a good example so I'll do my usual of waking up at 2am, wandering around in a daze for a few minutes and going back to bed.

I'm just going to sit here by myself and get drunk. I hate drinking alone, but my drinking buddy is up at grannies with the kids until tomorrow. Bummer.

I may drag my butt out for the fireworks. I get a pretty decent view from just around the corner, as there is a big building in the way otherwise. I just hope the clouds go away taking the rain with them.
