I just want Maximum graphics :D hahaha i dont really care if i can play the multiplayer or not, graphics is all it matters in Crysis series!! and that is what makes PC version unique , Keep it up Crytek, if you make the graphics super photorealistic, i will be glad to buy ur games once again .

One thing aside from dx 11 , i would like HIGH RESOLUTION textures because that will make things look even better woohoooooo

People like you are what make PC gamers look bad. Visuals are the least important boundry that PC games break.

If I didnt want the best visuals, the only thing that would set my PC apart from a console is Keyboard/mouse and about 1500 dollars, IMO.

very true !

Not quite. Do I really need to explain this to console players? The distinct features of PC games has always been depth and complexity. Consoles on another hand have tried to capitalize on the 'arcade' style. This is where the word 'consolisation' comes from, not from being constrained by ancient hardware.

And btw, I had been upgrading my computer for 4 years with that 400$, since my buddy got a 360 at launch... And have been enjoying superior gfx and physics in games for every buck I've paid since.

Crytek DEFINATELY is started to show Crysis 2's awesomeness with the fixes and new patches. DEFAINTELY a great game and I KNEW they'd be able to do it. THEY ARE STILL fixing several bugs and issues but I mean, they've definately worked fast. What they've done would've taken other devs months lol

Some people cant actually log in to multi at the time. Think there 60 dollars were worth it? Crytek just released an unplayable game for some people. My friend can play multi but gets DC'd. He can only last for 5 mins per game max. I however do not suffer any problems except for that weird squad prob. It's been 2 weeks and still the game still has bugs and cheaters all around. I really thought Crytek would easily patch these problems no sweat or even have just minor problems at release.. Really change my perspective on Crysis.

Everebody should feel like this.

Seriously ? This is fairly interesting to me. So all the compliants about this being a rail shooter, a COD clone, A poor story line and outside of the various bugs and MP issues. The only thing that really matters and the only thing PC gamers should really care about is that they announced they will someday release DX11 and now all is right again with Crysis 2?

So if they released DX11 with the release of Crysis 2, and the PC version had even more of the reported game breaking bugs, and the console version had whatever bugs they have now. That would be all fine and dandy has long has we had prettier graphics ?

If that is true, that is an interesting stance you have their

If you are paying $1500 for a PC, you need to stop buying Dell/Alienware.

$1500 isn't all that much. If you're a hardcoe PC gamer, how can you not spend $1500 on a PC ?

ASUS Rampage IV Motherboard is $350
Video card around $400-500, ($800-1000 if you're going SLI)
CPU for around $300-$350
a 120GB SSD drive is $300 or at least $200 for a 10K rpm drive
$150 for some solid Memory
$200 for a quality power supply
$100-$175 for a sixy case
$150 for a keyboard
$30-50 for a quality gaming mouse
$300 or so for a quality 24" montior.
$60-80 for a quaility CPU cooler.

I won't even include items like a legal copy of Windows 7, various cables, thermal paste and such. I really don't know how anyone can spend less than $1k for a new Gaming PC. Anything less might as well be a console.

Dude Crysis 2 a "rail shooter"...are you stupid?! There is nothing linear about Crysis 2. It's not an RPG but FFS its not a COD clone either. "poor story line" You must be stupid for sying that. That story is way better than Crysis 1 and way more interesting than most games, not gona nominate it for an award but it's a good story that takes you to amazing locations and not once feels forced. There are also no "time filler" misions that some other games have. Great game just a few bugs. I can even answer that. EA is not focused on Crysis 2 and the dev team were probably pushed to make way for the public launch of CryEngine 3 and they needed there poster child (Crysis 2) to show off what the engine was capable of. Soon the bugs will be fixed and you will regret these two comments. If you don't, I hope you stop gaming as nothing will impress you.

Lol :D

When I bought all the parts to my computer I spent a grand total of about 1100$ (I added 400$ to account for upgrades), and any similar Alienware system would have cost me 2500$, minus screen and peripherals.

Before you flame too hard on me, you might want to search the forums a tad more. The comments I made are direct quotes from other players, quite a few have called this a Call of duty clone (and worse). I think one person has coined the term "Crysis of Duty."

2nd I was actually posing that question to all those who have been flaming the game, but now seem to be happy has can be because they are getting Direct X11, Regardless of all the other gameplay issues. It really lends credence to the notion that so called hardcoe gamers, really don't care about substance, just glitter. Which is interesting to me, since "some' of the hardcoe gamers say that about consolers.

Finally, I personally find the game to be middle of the road. The bad AI ruined alot of it for me, which I consider a gameplay issue. I don't think C2's playstyle is the same has FC1 and C1, I prefer the open style. I was curious how they were going to achieve that in a city enviroment and now I see and I'm not that impressed(not horrible, not awesome). I don't think it's CoD or a rail shooter, but it's not what I was expecting from this series either. I actualy did like the storyline, felt they did tie in enough pieces from the previous game and I really liked the Hargrave character's perfomance most.
