While I hope for a game set in the Argonian homeland, I'm content with Skyrim.

Maybe Lydia Oscarus will be a Nord instead. Nobody said Gregreo had to marry an Imperial, right? He married a Nordic girl and centuries onward, Lydia Clessens is born with 100% Nordic blood in her veins.

Not sure about Imperial blood, though. That may have ran out of the family tree between Oblivion and Skyrim.

Pffft, throw a High Elf in a cage with a Nord. You might have to scraqe the paste off of the floor after the Nord leaves.

Skyrim was my third (second really) choice after a return to Morrowind (my ideal first choice, but a hope that I was long ago certain would be in vain) or the Summerset Isles (my real first choice). Bloodmoon was my favorite part of Morrowind, so I am stoked for more snow and Nords, but I would have liked to do somewhere completely different.

I remain hopefull that TES VI will be in The Summerset Isles. But I am content with Skyrim, I'd love to see some strong viking themes.

Summerset Isles could have been a better option. But I love Bruma and the snowy mountains in Oblivion, so I am happy anyway.

I'm not particularly happy about it

I personally do not like the cliche-axe-wielding-big-dumb-muscular-nord and I have a feeling it's going to be a nordfest

Looks like going on a murderous rampage is going to be easy for me

I've always been a fan of the dunmer, but we can't have another game set in Morrowind, can we? I think Summerset isle would have been my close second.

Skyrim is cool I can't wait to see Throat on the Mountain or any of the other wonderous sites of the Nordic homeland.

I honestly can't wait until every province has a game. Maybe some day in the future we'll have a final elder scrolls, which takes place across the entirety of Tamriel, just like the first. But, until then, I've always had the hunch that Skyrim would be up next, and I love the setting.

Yep...pretty much, thats what I was a little....eeeh. against, I know Skyrim is not all Frost and mountains....but I dont think I will be as enraptured with its setting as I was with Morrowind, it would be interesting to view Tamriel from the Highest point on the continent (hope we can see the Imperial Tower for lulzy easter egg) but over all Im meh about the location.

hopes that Gameplay Blow my [censored] out of the water, so mods like Mesogea find even more energy.

Don't get me wrong, no one in their right Mind can name a Poor TES of its time, Every TES game kicked aeses, during its time of release, some still doing so this day (I wub you morrowind, Oblivon,....I can hug you what the heck). Looking forward to what V does this time around, How long is the setting after IV?

I'd have preferred Black Marsh as a setting, but I'm content with skyrim, so long as i can get lost in another Elder Scrolls game, I'm happy. :celebration:

So much pessimism!

I'm sure that Skyrim will twice as enthralling as Morrowind and Oblivion combined!

I was hoping for Skyrim once the rumors started so to hear that it is the next title is exciting. Now I just have to wait and see if they can live up to all the expectations and inevitable future hype.

I'd been so caught up in the trademark stuff I don't know how I would have reacted if it wasn't in Skyrim. I think it will allow some amazing scenery.

To tell you the honest truth, I would have been happy with any region - except for rehashed ones like Vvardenfell or Cyrodiil. I think I might have also squealed with Wood Elf Territory or High Rock.

Bethesda has always been great at creating a real sense of culture among the races and the landmass you play on, so: yes, I am very excited to see what kinds of things Bethesda has in mind for Skyrim.
