Greetings. Need help please.

I'm trying to start the Happy Trails Expedition and Jed Masterson says I must get rid of my companions.

I have them waiting back at my apartment at the north gate. Willow is inside waiting. And outside the

apartment I have ED-E and Veronic waiting. So my companions are nowhere near the passage

entrance. Is there a CC to bypass the dialog with Jed or something I'm missing?
