HELP!!!!!!
Early in the game I grabed the Chillrend and Mercer's Map before I joned the Theives Guild. As I have found out this was a Major mistake. It of course showed up after the first time through Hard Answers, the Pursuit did not start. I have done all the bug fixes I can find.
I tried with and without the map. I brought Karliah to her knees and reset the quest. I found myself outside and Speaking in Silence started and completed without starting Hard Answers. I did this multiple times.
Now all I have to show for it is several completed 'Speaking in Silence" listings in my completed quest list.

My wife had the same situation with taking the map. She did not put it back and the reset worked flawlessly for her. She is now completing the pursuit.

And no I can not load to before I took Chillrend and the map. First it was back when I was single digits and I am 42 now and second I have long since deleted that save.
