Hi guys,

I’ve just done most of the Hard answers thieves guild quest, however the final step where i go back to speak to Enthir doesn’t work and he just keeps saying "this is going to be terrible for business" without actually entering into any dialogue.

Just wondering if anyone knows a fix/work around with this, i tried reloading to a previous save and doing the quest over again from the start but still got the same result.

I'd also like to know if there is a console command to finsh just this quest (not the entire questline).

Do you know why he's saying "this is going to be terrible for business?" Are you also in the middle of the mage's quest line? There is a point at which all of the mages college will be wrapped up with the events there.

yeah i am in the middle of the mages quest line does that cause trouble does it ?, i guess i can try finishing the mages guild quest first, but he is in the basemant of the inn with the female thief (forget her name at he moment) and an arrow for the quest on his head.

But he just wont enter into any any dialogue, just says out loud "this is going to be terrible for buisness"

Kind of thinking if i need him for the mage quest line hes probably broken for that too then

He could be freaking out because of what is happening at the college. Which quest are you on for them?
If so, then just finish that portion of the mage's quest. He should act normally again.

*edit* Also, can you talk to anyone else there? I'm betting they'll all be saying these kinds of things.

yep finished the Mages quest and I can talk to him again now, Thanks heaps mate thats great, was starting to get worried.
