I'm not leaving the Lucky 38 Penthouse, I have put too much work into and I made it too have much more items than the sink anyways. I am going to take the SINK's shop and AutoDoc though and put them in there too.

Well, we can't take our followers to the Sink, so I'm not too worried.

Nope. In all the games of Fallout N.V. that I have played I would guess I have spent maybe 2 min in the rooms and that was just to see the snowglobes.

Though it is awesome to live in the Sink, I still have that fear of losing my stuff in the DLC, so just in case I am going to leave my most treasured items in the Lucky 38.

No reason for you to feel bad about liking something Gabbr. I just didn't like the red rooms and Vegas was never a fun place for me so I don't spend much time near it.

I'm not moving, i have the big table in the lucky 38 filled with guns. Even if the sink had that kind of room there's no way i'm lugging all that crap over.

the lucky 38 feels like more of a base than a home (my guy is with the NCR and i killed house so the 38's all mine now :celebration: ), but then again i now have housing all over the wastleland. i have the room in novac, a camp in a cave in zion, and now i have the sink.

as for moving all your stuff part i dont do that, i just buy new weapons and mods, armor, ammo, and aid to fill my homes with

I would move my base/home to the Sink, but I don't feel like transporting 600+ pounds of equipment to the Sink. I did decorate my BoS Safehouse a little, with all the types of medicine, all types of ammo, and a big collection of rare items. And I'm just too lazy to move those items. I just keep my OWB items in The Sink, and Mojave Wasteland items in my safehouse.

Once I got Muggy up and running I realised after talking to him that I had just found my new home with the Sink. Muggy alone is reason enough to buy this DLC. The rest is gravy.

What? I still live in Novac. Feels...I dunno. It feels right. The kinda place I would live in a post apocalyptic environment. Quiet, out of the way, low interest. Except for the big dinosaur. In reality, that would attract all the wierdos of the wastes.

Yeah, New Vegas never held any appeal to me, so I never used the Lucky 38 for my home. I used a mod for that. One I liked much better. The Sink might replace the mod, though. It's got some nifty features to it. I might have to see about upgrading it in the GECK, though, so it'll have a few of the amenities that my other place has.

I kind of like The Sink, but my companions being dismissed every time I return there is rather a deal-breaker; as would be its insistence on dropping me off at Nipton, which is getting on for the least desirable place on the map, had I not changed the teleport location to Novac.

But it's still a nice place to visit. :hehe:

Don't even need long haul. Load up all your stuff, walk out to the Mojave and teleport to Big MT. It's a five minute walk tops if moving from the Lucky 38 and instant if in Novac.

This is a design oversight by the devs, because you can also start the DLC with all your worldly possessions on your back. This removes most of the challenge when one can bring in 3000+ Wg of weapons, food and ammo like I did on my second trip through the DLC.

Yeah, but you still have to get to the Mojave Drive-in carrying all that. Not much a problem if you have the Long Haul perk, but for anyone else it'd be a bit more of a feat.

You get a teleporter to the sink after you beat OWB. So you just have to walk outside (it won't work indoors) and then can teleport right to the base.

If any of you are on the PC, look up the Underground Hideout mod, before moving all your stuff. Has pretty much all the features of the Sink and more.

Um, the person I was quoting was talking about STARTING the DLC with everything you own on your back. That means you don't have the teleporter yet. That means you have to walk/FT from wherever your stuff is stored to the Mojave Drive-In.

And I use the Underground Hideout mod. Mods are a separate case entirely, because they can be used to break just about every aspect of the game if you want.
