Nada except the feeling that you survived without the aid of spaming stimpacks, toting around a ton of junk and ammo to survive.
Took on packs of critters that make armour seem like paper, learnt to walk around half the map looking for another doctor to heal all 6 limbs after you killed doc henry.
All without any aid and a constant threat of your gun jamming because reload action was bugged, making it vital you refined tactics asap from what you where used to.

A personal ego boost?

Seriously, it just unlocks the achievement.

Sadly, this is for me the problem with hardcoe mode. Unless you are an achievement chaser, there really isn't much reason to do it. I thought it would be great and add some nice realism to the game... but really it just makes it slightly harder with everything being heal over time and annoying with having to keep up with food. Not that you had to do much. Evidently you could get by with eating and drinking once a day and getting a few hours sleep every few days in Fallout... I have tried it a few times, but eventually I just get annoyed by it... If only there was some advantage to go along with the annoyance of hardcoe mode.

You also get to impress the ladies by telling them you finished FNV on hardcoe.

I thought hardcoe Mode was quite easy, so it was worth 100 Gamerscore. :spotted owl:

The only hard thing about hardcoe mode is crippled limbs.

Sleeping is a joke so far. I'm only halfway through my first hardcoe character, he's level 14 and has only slept once. Nuka-Cola, Chewing Tobacco, and Atomic-Cocktails are everywhere to keep you up for days.
