hardcoe Sleeping..

Post » Wed Dec 24, 2008 9:05 pm

So, I'm playing in hardcoe and either I'm delusional or my game / the game in general is acting up.

When you sleep in hardcoe your limbs do NOT heal as if you were playing non-hardcoe, but.. don't you still gain health by sleeping in a bed?

I could've sworn I used to regain health when I slept in hardcoe before, but as of the last couple days sleeping does nothing but bring down my SLP meter.

Am I delusional or what?

the game's not acting up. your health isn't supposed to heal when sleeping in hardcoe at all. i've beat the game a few times with hardcoe on, and when i slept, i never healed. so it's nothing to worry about.

You do heal when you sleep in HC mode, just very slowly. I know playing the DLC when healing items are in short supply sleeping for 36 hours to heal up.

Also owned beds like the Lucky 38, Novacs motel.
Rented beds and suprisingly the Kings big heart shaped ones do heal full health and limbs.
It may be a bug or a feature that in a secure restful envioment you'll heal better than on the roadside on a filthy matress.

It's kind of strange that drinking a bottle of 300 year old sarsparilla and a charred hunk of gecko does more for your health than a good night's rest.

Only owned beds heal you. Sleeping in a non-owned bed doesn't.

Its a Feature, they intend it to be that way.

Also, I think any Queen Sized bed you can sleep in, owned or not, will give you Well Rested, but I don't know about hardcoe Healing.
