Korana-
I am working on getting thoes to you ASAP :D

Burhenn63-
Ideally I want to keep the M'Harjaan's look indigenously their own (so no translation of these heads to the other races).
However, once my MHP is released, there will be heads comparable to these available for the other "base" races (so no worries :) ).

DWS-
I am certainly not committing Korana to anything, but if she would like to make (or have made) a few companions of these for Pelanor, then that might satisfy your desire. I would not mind a male and female companion for each (I have placeholder companions for each in my own game, but a proper companion would be all the more involving and intriguing, indeed).

Karpik777-
I am working on these in all of the time that I have available to do so. Since I am incorporating a large amount of clothing. armour, weapons into one pack (not just the M'Harjaan gear), the actual mod is taking a bit longer (though I am reaching a stopping point in my plans).

In addition to the armours, I am also working on a few birthsigns for the M'Harhjaan
(Soul Dancer, Servant of Hak'Yathar, Prophet of Jas'Ang). Each of these will enhance
a M'Harjanni strength (at a minor detriment to another). This will balance the player
so that no M'harjaan will be exactly the same (in addition to a few classes as well).

Well, back to it, I suppose :user: ...

A very stately and beautiful Race, Westly. You are so good at this. I think that they are completely more interesting looking and leeling than the Redguard, not that they are a replacement for the gamerace in any way. I know that. Just can't help making a comparison.

I {OMIT-->did encounter a bit of problem with the Download site for the mendi hand patterns) I'VE GOTTEN THE DOWNLOAD NOW AND WILL BE INSTALLING, which made me sad because that is also the add-on for the nudity too, isn't it? The mendi patterns are great but I could live without them, however I really did want to get the nvde patch.

Any chance of uploading that to FilePlanet or such like more common download site?

Thanks tons for this beautiful race, Westly! :celebrate:

The Mehndi download supports both Underwear and nvde options (as stipulated in the download post :) ).
So this leaves me wondering waht you mean by "nvde patch"? Did this mean that you wanted the option for nudity
or non-nudity? At any rate (as I said) both body forms are supported (as it is only a texture replacer for the female
body).

I am glad you like the race :D.
Enjoy!

Just a http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m259/Laiane/Morrowind/HaizeainBalmoraLevel1.jpg. This mod inspired me! She's a Blade Dancer. Majors are Long Blade, Light Armor, Mysticism, Athletics and Illusion; Minors are Short Blade, Unarmored, Enchant, Acrobatics and Mercantile.

Thank you for the pic of your character :D !
She looks great  !

Might I suggest downloading my Blademaster Armour (links in my sig) as a compliment to her class (though the armour is medium, it could easily be changed to light in the CS). At least it should be sufficient until I am able to finish the M'Harjaan's culturally specific armours :ninja: .

Ooooooo! I do like that Blademaster armor. Thanks for the suggestion and the picture! That would go quite well with my character, Haizea (who is still first level and the scourge of the Vvardenfell rat population).

This plugin adds:A new playable Better Body race, the M'harjaan, to the world of TESIII: MorrowindMany female and male head and hair options (refer to the included screenshots if you do not believe me;) ).Vampire heads for both male and female charactersSeveral months ago, Korana approached me to make a race for her city/country mod, Pelanor, that would occupy/populate the Mhajareen area (a desert oasis likearea similar popular depictions of the Middle East and Eastern India). I gladlyaccepted, as this would be a great addition to increase the cultural diversityin the land. The race would also allow for a chance for me to make a race that is a homgenization of several real world cultures to create a new culture that is both familiar and yet completely unique and self contained. I looked to several cultures for inspiration (from North Africa, The Middle East, East Indiaand the aboriginal peoples of Australia). From these sources of inspiration, the M'harjaan were created.NOTE: To advance the idea that these are a self-contained culture, I have createdseveral styles of clothing and armours as well as a rudimentary language that are uniquely tied to this race. The clothing will be available in a forthcoming mod but are not available in this race only mod.the M'harjaan Hailing from the far off land of Mahajareen, the M'harjaan are a mysterious race with strong ties to the mystical and arcane. Their powers are of the mind, allowing for strong resistances to other mystic forces as well as fortifications to their own naturally mystical abilities. The M'harjaan are also naturally gifted swordsmen. This coupled with their Dance of the Dervish make the M'harjaan a true force of nature on the battlefield. The M'harjaan are also renowned soul hunters; one will find that their soul gems are rarely empty :). UPDATE (sort of :D )

Here is a temporary download for an additional set of textures for the M'harjaan females.
This alternate set adds mehndi designs to the female hands and feet (textures for nvde and underwear versions
are supported). See the original README for the credits (not much has changed there). In this download there are
three folders:

nvde
Underwear
Hands

Inside of each of these is a Textures folder:
Copy the Textures folder of the version (nvde/Underwear) that you would like for your game and paste it into your
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files (substitute "C" with the letter drive of your choice should you use another aside from "C" ). Install the hands this way only once, regardless of which body texture you choose to use.

Should you not like the textures after they are in game, then re-install the original mod to overwrite the changes.

I will add these into the main mod download as an option eventually. For now, though, the temporary link should be sufficient.

Westly, I thought I'd come back to give MW another spin, but after seeing this race, I've decided to wait until you have the clothes done, because there's no one I'd rather be for my next romp in Morrowind. Looking absolutely gorgeous!

Wonderful! I was looking to start a new adventure, your work is fantastic. Can't wait for the clothing. Hmm, until you get the clothing done, maybe a trip to Metal Queen Boutique...I saw a great sarong there. (not crazy about the ink stained fingers, though) Love the tatoos, otherwise.

Westly, I bumped into this gem by accident while looking for something else. At first I looked at the name "M'harjaan? Elves? Khajiit modification? *shrugs*" and almost moved on but boy am I glad I checked this out!

Splendid looks and a great concept; lore-friendly enough and it's nice to gain another human race option. I'm looking forward to the gear, the teasers of clothing and the mask look terrific! Another thing that makes me happy is that the race seems well-balanced, I hope this will be the case with the equipment (no turbans or silk vests with AR 75 etc) and birthsigns as well!

Ok, maybe I should go and actually play the race as well before drowning you in praise. :P

I'd so love to play as one of these... but I must resist the temptation till those clothes come out. My games hate it when I add mods to them in the middle.

the M'harjaan

Sorry about the Thread Necromancy, but I'm using some M'harjaan in a PC home that I'm building for myself & I was wondering if you were still planning on releasing any M'harjaan clothing/armor mods. The context that I'm using them in involves them being merchants in a marketplace selling wares from back home, and I think it would be more fun & immersive to dress them up in their native duds. Sure, I could probably improvise, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask politely once a year or so...

I have the M'harjaan clothing sitting in a folder and ready to go (for about a year now, I suppose). I had planned on including the clothing in My ELSEWORLDS! Armoury (which is a WIP ATM). I will endeavour to get this out ASAP so that you can attire your M'Harjanni NPCs with the proper gear :).

I will probably have to redo the package for the Mhendi textures, as I can not find my previous archive that was loaded to Rapidshare (those are the breaks, I suppose, when I get distracted by other projects :( ). As soon as I either find the old archive or make a new one, then I will upload it again (this time at PES for a bit more permanence).
