While doing the 'Totems of Hircine' quest (companions main questline) with Aela, I get to the four levers puzzle. So I pull some different levers, get it opened, and when this happens the spikes behind the bars come down and so now the levers don't do anything. I leave there and do some more quests with Aela in my party, thinking maybe after some time the dungeon will reset... nope. Unfortunately when I did the other quests I saved again and my quicksave files are written over as well, so no going back for me. I tried everything I could think of to make the spikes retract - enter and leave the cave countless times, fiddled with the inactive levers, and even waited 30 days before entering the dungeon. So please, please skyrim community HELP! I'd like to finish the quest but will settle to get rid of Aela... starting a new character simply is not an option for me.
