Harper's shack

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 3:50 am

On this play through I found a nifty wee shack obviously named Harper's shack, this place creates a great wee home for all my junk, multiple container, locker, bed, workbench and reload bench everything i need.
I was wondering if anyone knows if Harper actually exists in the mojave and i can go meet him and tell him i've took over his house ?
Or
Is he dead and lying around outside somewhere, since there is a deathclaw roaming around ?

Harper's that jerk who put a shotgun in his doorway.

And that's about all he'll ever be character-wise.

EDIT: Wait no, that's Bradley of Bradley's shack, lulz. Ok then Harper has even LESS story. Poor Harper.

Harper doesn't exist in the game and has no bio, so you're not going to meet him.

I think its funny how the Courier just knows the names of all these shack owners. I don't even think the Courier is native to the Mojave either.

The fella who guarded Rivet was called Harkness. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Where's Bradley? Where's Harper? Surely they were tuned in enough to live out in the waste and/or hook up traps.

I would think twice about making Harper's Shack a player home sometimes deathclaws can spawn right outside since you are so close to Dead Wind Cavern. It's only happened a few times...but they can spawn inside as well (or one followed me in). if you decide to make it a player home be sure you can take on deathclaws.

Harper is probably one of the skeletons found in Dead Wind Cavern.

Well your not going to meet Harper. Hes Dead. Probably. Well hes M.I.A As far as we know. Ill bet (as someone else suggested) He died from Deathclaws. Im pretty sure that he built the shack AFTER the bombs dropped. So why would we but a Shack near Deathclaws? Let alone BUILD One. If he built it BEFORE the Bombs then he is obviously dead and its am miracle his Shack even has parts of it left, Let alone can still support itself as if it was recently built because its been (Acording to Vault Radio transmissions and some Robobrains) 203.4 Years. so Yeah. Lets go reflect. Isent Fallout Great?

Agree with railtracer. DC's will follow you in there. I had a comedy moment with a blind DC in Harper's Shack...

I've already had this experience of the DeathClaws coming in after me (when i wasnt looking) and it was not a pleasent surpirse, a lv.11 melee character can not handle that kind of battle.....so i moved back to my humble home in Novac for now. Also damn Bradleys shack to hell ! Damn shotgun nearly killed me when i had not health items
