Harsh Pop-in

I raised some terrain on the West side of Crescent Canyon (near the broken bridge) and built a mountain of it using canyon cliff objects. I thought everything was going great until I loaded up a game and approached the area only to see my new mountain pop in really harshly as I got into the same cell it occupies.

Is there anything I can do to make it, I don't know, pop in more smoothly? I didn't expect any issues because you can see all the other mountainous terrain and objects from a good distance.

Unfortunately, no. :brokencomputer: To fix this you would need to generate LOD for the entire NVwastland and, that just doesn't seem possible. Many people, including myself have tried tried several time and, failed every attempt.

sorry

Yeah, I read about how generating the LOD for a large world space could take something along the lines of weeks of time. With GECK crashes thrown in for extra fun.

Well, back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the reply, Cev!
