I recently bought HM:BTN again, and started playing. On the 7th of summer, year 1, I recieved an Invitation to Ann's Birthday Party on the 17th. Well between then, and the 17th I lost the invitation in the field. Now for some reason I cannot get into the Inn on the day of the party. Is the invitation required to enter the party?

I posted this on a Harvest Moon Forum, but nobody will answer. It is either due to low traffic on the boards, or there may not be a definitive answer. I knew if I posted it on the Bethesda Forums at least somebody would see it. Does anybody here know anything about it?

Now to actually be helpful and not just to try to get my post count up while wasting the time of others: I looked it up and several sources say that you do need an invitation and a wrapped gift for Ann. None of the places I read said you need the invitation, but what was mostly said was, "Don't forget your invitation and wrapped gift!" http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_get_harvest_moon_back_to_nature_invitation said they are unsure if you need it, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

If I recall correctly, yes, you do need the invitation. It was years since I played now though so I'm no guarantee...

Hey I can't help at all, but it seems like Harvest Moon games have really been going downhill lately... Maybe because I play on the ds over consoles, but I've just been finding that the games are the same old, with some of the cooler features taken out. Sunshine Island or whatever it was called was hard, like way too hard for younger kids to play with the water/sun meters and getting people to like you is like levelling in vanilla wow.
