sh-t, this seems a pretty sick idea.. ingame trophies instead of achivements :)

could be nice if you can make a monster out of them if your a necromancer :P

Well, there's actually proof for and against the fact that it might be like Oblivion's armor system. The chest piece on the Dovahkiin is just one proof for Oblivion's because of the attached shoulder piece. But I think that i's quite possible trying to equip a let Pauldron with it on will make a message pop up saying "there's a conflicting piece of armor on and this item can not be equipped".

i seriously doubt that.

What's the point of cutting off heads if you don't see their cold dead eyes staring at you from your mantle as you sleep? :P I say give me the whole head, I don't need different shaped skulls; they all crush the same. :gun:

You made realize something... You never find Argonian skulls, or Khajit skulls, only human skulls.

I'd be damned if my nord warrior could not have a massive trophy room.

Only if the skull was a rare-ish drop or something, otherwise you'd just have hundreds of skulls piling up xD.

Damn it... Predator was already referenced here... I'm too late. :(

There's going to be meat for every animal you kill so I doubt they'll have skulls for them aswell. Which is good because why would I want to see a useless skull everytime I click on a dead body? One more thing to scroll over...

I like this idea! This will provide a great additional roleplaying experience for any evil character. :flamethrower:

I like this idea. A lot. More options the better.

This is a really cool idea. The only problem is/would be... creating a skull resource for every creature in the game. That's a lot of weird-shaped skulls to model and texture, for the sake of a very minor feature.

Perhaps necromancer PCs could collect bones and eventually create their own skeletal monster/bone golem.

More realistically, I'm rather hoping there are Nordic trollbone and dragonbone items in the game.

Not to mention that you'd have to make an extra sprite for each enemy, one lacking a head.

In Oblivion there wasn't really much I could take as a trophy, so at later levels I would simply strip the body of all armour and either sell it, or add it to a collection.

I did this In Oblivion aswell. About halfway through the main quest money was no longer a problem and since then (about 100 hours ago gameplay) I have kept everything picked up/looted organized in containers in Rosewood in Skingrad. My weapons chest only gets to the Glass weapons because apparently it won't load the entire list, same for armor, potions/scrolls etc.

I am big on collecting in the open world games. And adding a skull pile from my kills would add a huge amount to it. I would try and build monumental piles of them, each organized by skull.
