I have a 1440p 120hz monitor 7950crossfire and a fx8120 @ 4.2ghz with 16gb memory

I can get anywhere between 70 and 120 depending on maps with all settings set to low

just wondering if any1 has achieved constant 120fps ,cause when I reach that it runs so much better

Use the ultra low configurator. Also make sure you are using the drivers with the best C3 performance.

Also are you running RadeonPro? Because I would recommend disabling one 7950 and using the ultra-low configurator to get the smoothest experience. You could also lower the resolution a notch.

The kind of GPU power needed to run a 1440p 120hz at anything higher than Low settings is pretty crazy.

wat cpu do u have to get 120fps average @ 1440p lowest with oced gtx670?
cos i only get ~100fps average(according to fraps benchmark) @ 1080p lowest with oced gtx680 + 3570k(4ghz).

i need to run some more test when i cbf oc cpu/gpu more, use cvar n also run c3 with teamspeak3(or google chrome) on background, etc..

xl2420t with a gtx 670 (1215 MHz boost clock + unlocked BIOS) and a 3570K @ 4.5 GHz will run it. I also use the lightboost mod to enable it all the time rather than just in 3D mode. 1920x1080P

I have a i7 2600k @4.5ghz and i also use a custom config file that gives me a few more frames.Sometimes my frames drop down to 100fps but most of the time it stays steady @120fps.

You do not get a 1440p 120hz monitor by default. I'm guessing you have one of those korean models that you manually overclocked yourself?

I have the Asus PBQ27Q and my 7970 @ 1100/1550 can maintain a pretty constant 60fps with all settings on high with FXAA. If you want a constant 120 frames at 2560x1440 you would most likely need better cards.
