Has anybody done an evil walk-through?

Post » Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:48 pm

Because I just started my 3rd playthrough, sided with the Powder Gangers, and I don't like it so far :(

I blew Doc Mitchell's brains out after he put my brains back together. I am supposed to be enjoying this, but I don't like the change. Should I just be a good guy until I can side with the Legion?

I tried siding with all the bad guys but got pissed. I destroyed every NCR installation except the Strip and the Legion barely cares. I take over Goodsprings and all the Powder Gangers do is say, "Good job". And then after I've basically killed 3 Bat. worth of NCR troops they still reset me to neutral. WTF, and then the Strip was so empty once I killed everyone...

I never make an "evil" character, just a character with a past and a certain way of doing things that matches the past. So basically, I will do what my character sees as good, so they will not be evil for the sake of being evil.

Yep. Can't say I enjoy Melee characters either. It feels the same as the Unarmed character I just finished, but without pizazz. I'm going to restart with good Energy/Explosives character (good combo since they both rely on Perception). Not sure whether to side with House or NCR though... probably NCR.

Or will I continue on this path? Or will I do my Ranger playthrough? I don't [censored] know.

I wish when you take camp forlorn hope the legion would move in and take control of it

Its kinda hard to play a true "evil karma" character in the game.

I wish you could enslave people for the Legion (something like in Fallout 3).

I've done several. I've been so evil I did that awful thing to Gannon, too bad this isn't in the spoiler section. Side with Powder Gangers, never kill Motor Runner, etc, etc, etc... Just can't say too much in this section. ;)

I'm doing it currently. Helped PG in their two quests, something bad will happen near Novac, Keely didn't survive, Vault 3 will remain intact, Boomers will become goners and Legion shall emerge victorious. The goal is to leave Mojave in worst possible condition

Tried going around killing everyone I met.
Was fun.
Lots of lovable characters lie dead before my feet.

The plan is to further hinder NCR efforts against the legion after the dam battle, and as Legion is about to defeat the NCR eliminate both of their leaders, leaving the land in state of anarhy  Of course that can't happen in the game, but my version of the ending is better :hehe:

I have a friend that dug himself into an impossible ending. Right off he murdered Doc Mitchell and all of goodsprings. Then he killed Ringo, the powder gangers, and primm. He is vilified by NCR, Khans, Legion, Freeside, The Strip, and BoS. He also killed Yes Man. 0.0

Been there, done that.. collected the dogtag.

Early on most of the evil stuff is stupid evil such as Goodsprings..
Later on it spreads out more, not every action or quest is clear cut.
Which opens up more options of what style of bad you wish to play as.

Same :(

I can't believe I was rooting for these violent and crude convicts. I felt a pang of guilt when I blew off Doc Mitchell's head, he saved my damn life!
