Has anybody tried to decipher the Daedric language?

Like if you look at some of the scrolls in Morrowind and see the daedric symbols do they actually represent something for the certain scroll or are they in random order? I havn't really tried to figure it out. I did go to the effort of copying some of the daedric symbols by hand i know i'm missing some b/c i just did this for fun. Always kind of wondered you know what each symbol means.

I copied by hand some of the symbols. I'm no artist tried the best i could. I'm sure if wanted to too i could find out more on wiki. I just figure i try to figure it out on my own like if i really was living in Morrowind or Oblivion...there are no computers so i wouldn't be able to access wiki. :D

I did try to decipher some of the smybols on some of the random scrolls in the game, but it does seem kind of in random order. I'm sure someone who knows Chinese or something might be more successful at this b/c i'm sure there are some similarities with both languages with understanding how symbols represent a certain word or words or even a letter..gets confusing.

i actually wanted to figure it out on my own and i did. To start off you can look at some of the dunmer village flags. At first i didn't even notice some of them had daedric symbols actually spelled out the name of the city. They sometimes show the name in daedric. I got all but five letters figured out. I was starting to figure out the dwemer language by myself. I heard a lot of the sybmols are in fact in random order unlike the daedric symbols. Dude, this is so fun. I know all about wiki and the links. Like i said imagine if you were actaully living in tamriel trying to figure all this out. it's a lot more fun.

all the symbols that are numbered are from the egg of time and divine metaphysics. The other symbols are found in ruins.

I know people have probably already tried this i'm not the first. I just think it's fun to figure it out on your own. You guys should try it.

Don't click if you want to figure it out for your self. In that case, have a look at weathertop and the writing in blood in Knights of the Nine.

Top row: Egg of Time, Divine Metaphysics, Constellation Markings (Regaurd)
Second row: Worm god script
Third row: Umaril's writing in blood
Fourth row: Ayleid writing from weather peak. (Oblivion)

Divine Metaphyiscs and Egg of Time are random. The constellation Markings have some order in them and the Ayleid writing is all sensible.

The Imperial Library :P rings any bell? XD :P

I know you just want to do it.... but i just thought it wasn't the biggest argument that they don't have a wiki in Tamriel :P

It's not a language, it's an alphabet, based on the Latin one. And, yes, it has already been translated, somehow ;)

Someone sent me a letter once in Daedric script. I could read about one word in every four!
