I was just curious if anyone ever figured out what the deal with The Welding Gun is?

Never mind, yeah I didn't know there was a Welding Gun in the game. I just found one, you can't pick it up or do anything with it, so I don't know what its for.

The one in that house in Nipton?

Edit: Btw i found a shovel that you cant take that seems similar in Cottonwood Cove.

Its an usually item in that its name pops up with the cursor but the item can't be picked up into your inventory. My guess would be your supposed to be able to pick up the item but due to a bug it can't be picked up.

It's like the vacuum cleaner or water purifier. Intended item of usage that simply didn't make it to the game - but still got placed as decor here or there.

They removed all the item creation recipes from the game, but left the ingredients in (fission battery, motorcycle fuel tank, steam gauge assembly)... so maybe that or it's an item for a quest (perhaps one that was cut before the title went gold)

Or a self-crafted weapon. It always strikes me that I can't use a wench or hammer as weapon in the wasteland.....

rocket launcher schematic is still around for the rocket launcher that shots items I found one in a building where the boomers are.

Yeah so did I, but due to a bug you can't use it. I am so sick of this game right now. I can't believe they released it like this.

The Rock-It Launcher itself is not in the game files, even though most Fallout 3 weapons are. So I wouldn't call it a bug that you can't make one.

Its a bug that you can get the schematic then.
