All of my objects are floating 6 feet off the ground. Not sure if I am missing a "lower" mechanic or if my software is messed up, anyone have input?

You should just be able to angle your reticle down like you would if you're aiming a gun. It might be a glitch or it might just be that the building mechanic is super awkward and clunky (at least on the Xbox One).

Started last night. Out of the blue.

It was fine at first.

Built a house, power generation, some defenses.

Now it won't allow me to place things on the ground.

I'm not throwing away nearly 30 hours of game time for this.
