Has Anyone Made This Rifle?

Post » Sat Jan 22, 2011 7:55 pm

The Sig 556. I know there is one out but it doesn't look right. some things on it are off and it is out of proportion. Im sure though you can probably use that one and make it look like this one: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5733

of course you minus the orange tip ^_^ (I actually have that airsoft, that orange tip was sad...Pair of plyers and it came right off XD)

So what do you all think?

Not necessarily. He was asking if anyone had made a mod of that gun, he just used the airsoft version as an example. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5341, along with the one included in the 19th & 20th Century Weapons mod.

yeah see I am looking to have the Sig 556. There is a mod called Ahztek weapons replacment that incorporates the 556. But it doesn't look right. I was hoping maybe someone could make the 556 like the airsoft one. OR, use the 556 from ahzteks and change it to look like it.

Your link is to an airsoft gun...airsoft isn't real...that isn't a SIG 556; the one you've seen in Ahztek weapons was based on a real SIG 556 by the looks of it (therefore it didn't "not look right"; your toy doesn't look right!). Look on the official SIG website and you'll see that none of the REAL SIG 556 variants look like that. The 'gun' you showed is more like a mix of a SIG and an M4. I'm not saying airsoft is stupid, just that most modders only add real guns or entirely fictional guns, rather than airsoft guns.

Yeah, its got the sporterized rather than a military stock, but for some reason they have put an AR style collapsible stock on it.
Funny that, as the sig doesnt have the same issues with the return spring and buffer tube that the M-16s/M4s have.
Cant think why you would want to settle for that when you can have a proper folding one.
Maybe the kids get used to seeing the M4 style in MW, and think it looks cool?

No that sig does exist, I have seen one, I have used one. REAL STEEL. Not just my airsoft. That exact same airsoft style was one of the originals that came out when the Sig 556 was first released to public. Don't believe me? You can find it on youtube if you like... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ8JRQ4sjvQ

SO will someone make this please? You could probably use the one from ahzteks mod as a base. I would do it but me and blender never work out...

Guys, those stocks are interchangeable, though as you said it makes no sense to do so. The folder rocks less then the collapsible, which improves your accuracy. Only thing I like about the collapsible is the fact that you can keep it shouldered, while cutting down on firearm length, which is helpful during cqb.

Edit:Dog on auto spell....
