Has anyone seen a Skyrim census?

I'm creating a rough draft for a mod I want to create and one of the things I'd like to find out is what races make up Skyrim's population.

I don't mean just the important NPCs (shop keepers, Jarls, stewards, etc..), but an actual population report or a close estimation of what percentage of races would make up Skyrim.

I'm guessing from highest to lowest:

Nords

Imperials

Orc (I'm guessing Orc since they have strongholds that other races do not)

Bretons, Redguard

Dunmer, Bosmer

Altmere

Argonian, Khajiit

Mind you, that is just a guess and I'd be more than happy to be corrected. If possible I'm looking for a best guess on percentages as well (example: Nords 50%, Imperials 30%, etc..).

Admittedly I haven't done much research yet except for a few google searches which came back with results concerning what races players are using.

Thanks,

EDIT: Not sure how I always manage to do this. Another search and I found my answer http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Demographics

Are you counting imperials based on those that live there? Or live there and or are stationed there? If only those living there then replace imperial with Breton. The reach is full of forsworn and they are primarily Breton.

I would say as the top three.

Nord

Breton

Orc

After that... not sure.

Good catch on the Imperials. Part of the mod includes a small town so the numbers would need to be based on those living there not stationed there. Never even considered that and the link I found agrees with what you just said :)

Ah nice.

So that bumps imperials down the list quite a bit perhaps. Altmer would be almost at the bottom because, again. Stationed vs living there. You could count all the altmer residents on a hand and a half lol

Your wish is my command! Here is a demographic report for Skyrim's cities. It doesn't include rural dwellers, Khajiit caravans, or Orc strongholds, but it's a start.

Oh so Riften is the most populated.

483.. civilians in all the major cities.

All it needs now is Ivarstead, Riverwood, and Rorikstead.

wow, was not expecting Riften to be the most populated. But then again, if you count all those living under the streets it makes sense.
