Post » Thu Sep 08, 2011 9:49 am

it's still a while till it comes out, my meter dropped. there's barely any new info coming out and the forums are showing their boredom!!!

2 months? We've been waiting for at least 9!

My hype is gone because Gears of War 3 is in 13 days.

Gears has meant more to me than TES

I really am never hyped about any game. Except for Bethsda. But that's because I know I won't be disappointed. I mean, from what I've seen so far, and what I know from previous Bethsda games, I would be willing to bet a hefty sum of money that I will love this game.

If anything my hype is negative. After how much crap they fed us before the release of Oblivion, I don't see how Skyrim will be any different.

Not at all. My excitement has risen with each piece of new info, especially the inclusion of smithing and the removal of those awful attributes.

Never raised it in the first place.

I only expected things that have already been mentioned, never more.

And if I would be overly hyped, I couldn't be doing anything until 11-11-11...

Then again, I'm still in this forum...

That's...why it's called "hype".

I'm no longer like "OMGWTF SKYRIM" like I was when I saw the first trailer, but that's because the initial excitement of anything always fades with time. Now I'm just waiting for the game to come out so I can experience it first hand. Nothing else will really satisfy (which is why I'm apathetic about the release of trailers, etc.).

The hype meter is down bigtime. There are 2 massive months of time to wait between now and game time, and since there's no new footage/info, excitement has stalled.

Mine has risen a lot because when it first came out I was just expecting it to be slightly better than Oblivion but with all of the stuff they have added I am way more pumped to play the game than I already was.

Its died off for me because I have been spoiling the whole game myself by looking at PAX videos and Gameplay footage + Screenshots. So Im trying to control my impulse to look at new videos and interviews,so when the game finally comes out,I wont know how everything looks and every game mechanic avaiable. I find it more exciting finding it out by yourself as you experience and play the game.

Not mine. In fact, I get more and more excited the more I get new details or info. It just sounds so great! :celebration:

Yeah my excitement meter has gone down a bit. Too much mainstreaming. Still going to midnight launch, still going to love it, just don't like the mainstreaming going on.

Let's just put it this way, my hype level was at 10 the day of announcement, and it's doubled every day ever since then. That puts my hype level at over 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

I just get a growing sensation in my pants the closer we get to 11.11.11. That's how I know how close it is to release day. ^^

in all seriousness though, no. My hype meter has remained at the top since I heard about Skyrim. :P
