Has the pregnancy problem been solved yet?

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 11:16 am

If you delete the living quarters that your pregnant dweller's baby was concieved in then she will remain pregnant.... forever. My dweller has literally been pregnant for days. I am wondering if there has been any solution for the bug. If anyone knows a REAL solution besides "1) rebuilding the living quarters in the same location 2) keeping the happiness level up and 3) leaving her in the living quarters", as none of those have worked for me, then please let me know!

The only way for the Bethesda to fix the bug is through an update. They will have to create one and then distribute it.

to be honest it kind of does have its downs but also there is nearly no chance of a pregnant dweller dying so you can have her train for ever and ever.

I don't agree with the reason that this bug occurs. I have three everlasting pregnancies right now and I am very sure that with the last two, I haven;t removed any living quarters because I was aware of this bug since i already had one.

Via Bethesda support I was told I should look here.

Two pregnant women are in my vault for days by now. They conceived when there were 29 dwellers, and I removed 2 barracks and built new ones since then - just in case it matters. I don't remember if the couples were engaged in those barracks removed. Now I have 59 dwellers, so obviously there have been many successful pregnancies. The children have all become advlts. There are no other women stuck in pregnancy, only the two mentioned above.

Of course those women can still work or practice, but it's clearly a bug that should be dealt with.

I also have a dweller that has been pregnant since the first day, in fact she was the first one to get pregnant. I didn't destroy the room she mated in, but I did upgrade and merge it to make room for her baby, so not sure if that caused the problem or not.

http://www.gamesas.com/user/951456-criminelis/ I know that me deleting the living quarters is the reason it happened. When the babies are born they all spawn in the living quarters they were concieved in. She was one of the very first dwellers. As soon as I got her pregnant, I relocated the living quarters. Since then every other woman has had her child except for her. And when I searched the forums on reddit and so forth this was the conclusion that everyone was coming to. It's the only explaination for my vault.

I also have a dweller who has been pregnant since 3 days after launch and it wouldn't be such a major issue if she didn't have the highest stats

I'm also stuck with a pregnant dweller in my Vault and the Barracks she mated in are still there. So this bug must also be caused by something else besides missing Living Quarters.

The annoying thing for me is that I cannot get rid of her. :-)

Best case: they release a patch in the future, and all the waiting-babies can come out right after we enter the vault.

Bad case: they fix the problem, but can't deal with those dwellers who already got pregnant. so that we have to open a completely new vault.

And here comes the question: will you be able to transfer your purchased lunchbox to new vault?

I have been in touch with Apple, but not Bethesda about lunchbox issues. Apple will not refund your lunch boxes as they state, it is a Bethesda Developer issue. I had developed a vault to near completion on my iPad 4 32gig. The game became so unstable that

It became unrecoverable even after reboot of the iPad. I lost the vault and lunch boxes remaining. The game would not start, it just

Kept crashing. I personally believe my iPad wasn't able to open because the file/ animation and operation overloaded. After reading Bethesda's legal, they state it is an Apple issue. So goes the legal loop.....

I sent 2 requests for help to Bethesda, no response yet.

The game is very much "Version 1", that is obvious in many ways. Whenever I notice that in a game, I refrain from spending any real money on it.

Beside the bugs, The game looks unfinished to me in certain ways. Tapping on a room should show an info icon telling you what that room actually does. It should also show you the current upgrade level the room is at. Tapping on a dweller should show you what room that dweller is assigned to. Training rooms should show available slots, just like Living Quarters do. And so on.

Never changed any room but I have several dwellers indefinitely pregnant for some reason. I've even had ppl become pregnant after my "lifers" and give birth, and STILL nothing makes those other dwellers pop!

never BUY lunchboxes... problem solved.

I started my first vault 8 1 5 and got Harkness (level 42 with awesome gear and weapons) on my first lunchbox... so I was pretty happy about that, but I didn't like the way the vault was progressing... so I started a second vault 1 6 2 and got Nathan Wilson and Paul Bishop - they seemed to be rare / legendary but apparently are not... then I thought, since this is a very loose tie in to FO4 I will make a vault 1 1 1 - sadly there is no easter egg. To date I have found no easter eggs at all :(

I also have that pregnancy issue on vault 8 1 5 btw - just to bring it back on topic - and that is why I wanted to start a new vault.

What I really would like is for children to have stats that aren't just random, but based on the traits of their parents.

If I have two S10 parents breed I'd like a S3 or S4 kid at least.

Totally agree. They should make children's stats based on their parents. Right now, besides random stats, the possibility of having a baby with high Charisma (3 points) is also too high. I have to train almost every baby so that he or she can work on other jobs.

Back to the topic. I'm still hope that Bethesda can fix the problem by releasing patches. My vault is already half way done (101 dwellers) right now. The cost of starting a new vault is just too high.

Is there an ETA on a fix for this? It is the only glitch I've encountered but it is a huge pain. I feel like a safe way to fix it might be to just allow us to "delete" dwellers. It doesn't have to be dark or anything like that either, just maybe a bug fixing mode or we send them to a different vault. I don't care how it's done, but it would solve my headaches easily lol.
