The devs mentioned this a few weeks before launch as one of the hilarious bugs that they intentionally left in the game.

I married Mjoll the Lioness. However, there's this guy named Aerin who seems to follow her 24/7.
So I've got my housecarl, a wife, and this random dude living in my house. I don't know if they had a relationship once but geez, the guy needs to let it go.

Aerin gets friendzoned in every conversation but still he got ... or had a huge crush on her. I sneaked up on him when he left the town, summoned dremora lord, put frenzy on that SOB so that he killed himself fighting dremora. I threw the decapitated body into the river near Markath and captured his soul in a black soul gem, then proceeded to enchant his soul into a cheap ass ring and put it next to my bed.

After a couple of in-game days when I was returning from a dungeon with my wife follower... we saw this familiar looking body near the river bank far away from markath... HEH

I married Camilla as well, moved her into my whiterun home and sure enough feandal was hanging around. One night I came home, Camilla was sleeping while lydia and Faendal were sitting at the table in my room. I guess privacy is a foriegn concept in Skyrim. For the longest time i contemplated sending him to soverngard but always felt guilty, especially since I screwed him over and ratted him out in the first place and then kicked him while he was down and married Camilla, lol. That was until I recieved a quest to harvest blood from all elf races.....now his body is under the bridge just outside whiterun.

Haha, something like this happened with my wife and housecarl, too. I'd told Ysolda to move from Whiterun to Riften and then went to visit her while I was in town a few game-days later. I walk into the bedroom and see her and Iona in the same bed together, which wouldn't have been so suspicious if Iona hadn't suddenly bolted upright and glared at me as though she was peeved that I'd intruded on their little, ahem, session. I didn't kill either of them, though. It's kinda fun having such a frisky wife.

He may have walked out of the bedroom alive, but he won't walk out of the house alive.

Maybe he was just giving her a foot massage. The appropriate punishment for which would be to drop him four stories onto a greenhouse.

I don't be tickling or nothing.

My wife is annoying other than the 1000 gold I get on my not so frequent returns home.

*I arrive*

"Ask anything, dearest."

"Has the shop made any money?"

*I do some enchanting, put stuff in a chest, and leave.*

"Leaving? Take the world by storm my love."

She is so understanding, but being a priestess of dibella I'm sure she has massive orgy's with all the shopkeepers in Riften when I'm not home.

Aye I married her afterwards. She was nice enough in my house in Windhelm. However she did not take too kindly to me being a vampire and tried to kill me, so she too ended up a pile of ash

Faendal and I have had a bromance that's lasted almost as long as I've been out of Helgen, (and he looks pretty cool wearing either elven or glass with the Krosis mask) so I'm considering marrying Camilla just so I can have him closer to home when I need to dismiss him. I mean, we share everything else, right?

Then again, I might just dump both of them for Aela. She's cuter than Camilla, and is an archer like Faendal. (The main reason I like Faendal so much is that he mostly sticks in the back firing arrows, instead of running in front and getting in my way like Lydia...) She shouldn't cheat on me, either.

So I started the game like everyone else, came onto Riverwood and met the trader, and met Camilla Valerius. I got a quick liking to the voice actor/attitude of Camilla, so I married her when I found the marriage feature.

We moved to Whiterun, like most everyone does it being their first house, and it was alright for a while, I would come home from a hard day of slaying dragons and bandits, and get a small income from the shop and a good homecooked meal. Sometimes I would see Faendal walking the streets of Whiterun, which I found odd but didnt pay much attention to it, saw it as the game having integration and characters actually having real lives and traveling.

However. One day I arrived over-encumbered and looking for Camilla at home so I could dispose of some dragon bones. I went in the house and didnt see her in the kitchen/living room as she usually is. Had to walk upstairs and right then I see that bloody elf Faendal coming out of the bedroom with a wide grin on his face. At first I was confused, I thought Camilla had been bugged into looking like Faendal, but then I walked in the room and she was sitting in the chair next to the table, and that is when I realized the reality of the situation. She had been cheating on me with Faendal while I was away. It was why he had been walking all the way from Riverwood to Whiterun.

Needless to say what happened afterwards ofcourse, but I got 2 new ash piles near the fireplace. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it intended to be like that?

There is only one thing to do the way I see it. Go get some sujamma. A lot of it. And some skooma, flin, and why not, even a couple bottles of nord mead. Drink it down until you start sobbing like a Wood Elf, then go home and kill her. Kill her. Kill her. Kill her. Then get out of town, quick.

I ain't sayin' it's right. But you're sayin' a foot massage don't mean nothing, and I'm saying it does.

You're all lucky; I can't even get married.

I should've suspected something was buggy when Mamaral never gave me the "marriage speech" nor would he sell me Amulets. Then I thought it didn't matter because I found two of them while questing and after doing the quest for Aela the Huntress she noticed the Amulet of Mara I was wearing and indicated interest. I agreed and Mamaral set the wedding for the next day. Next day arrives and nothing happens. Everyone at the temple congratulates me on getting married and Aela just goes on about how we're getting married soon even though the time for the wedding has come and gone. I can't even jilt her!

My second clue that it was messed up, though I didn't notice it right away, I became Thane of Whiterun, bought the house and Lydia moved in as my housecarl. I had the Amulet on at the time but she never mentions it even though I've met the requirements for her.

So now I'm stuck in perpetual engagement with no way to end it nor to go through with it.

Hmmm, I don't know if he's cheating for sure but I did catch Vilkas out killing a sabre cat with another woman. Ria, one of the other companions. After I rode up and saved their butts, he straightens up from his near fetal position on the ground and goes "Good to see you again, dear."

Uh huh.....

I'm glad someone else mentioned this! On one of my characters I married Farkas, and one day out in the middle of nowhere I saw him walking along with another one of the Companions. It was Athis in my case. I'd never seen anyone else mention marrying a Companion and seeing them out roaming the world. Kinda nice that my husband does something other than run that supposed shop of his and sit on his butt eating bread with Lydia. Seriously though, he is a nice addition around the house. I always see him walking around and cooking or using the alchemy table.

I hope not. I love my pixilated wife. I raid bandit camps and make a comfortable living selling their equipment to shopkeepers just for her.
