I hate cazadors!

Post » Wed Apr 01, 2009 12:27 pm

They scare the poo outta me. When ever I see one I load a previous save and avoid the spot I saw it at.
There so horrifying I hate the idea of a giant bug flying towards you.
And they fly so fast!
At times when I see them I regret dressing Boone like a prosttute so he would not die and protect me.
Also the sound they make when they sting you makes me get goosebumps.
There horrible and I avoid them.
The problem is that if they see you you cannot run away! There so fast and they will not stop chasing you!
Plus I always wear pre war dresses that have no dt.
Is there any dlcs that remove cazadors all together?

Well, don't go near them, they are the only kind of enemy I know the moment I see their red blips on the compass.
So I always get ready when I see the blips move super fast and shoot them from afar.

No DLC to remove them. But, as some kind soul once told me, "aim for the wings"

If you cripple a wing, they can't fly. The creepiness factor will remain however, especially since they still try to come after you. Scurrying and flopping toward you, wanting to sting you to death. It's weird that there is no survival instinct.

Actually, come to think of it, *nothing* in the Mojave seems to have a survival instinct. They come after you no matter what you hit them with and no matter what you do to their limbs. You'd think maybe *something* in the Mojave would realize: "Oh [censored]! This courier is [censored] me up! I better get the hell out of here!" But no. Everything just wants to die.

Yeah, except hit one in a "swarm" and the others automatically know where you are and rush at you. :( I just avoid them - even when sniping/sneaking.

I agree. One of the major faults with the AI in the last two Fallout games. I'm guessing limitations of the engine?

I like Cazadors. There should be more of them, and some that actually can fly with those fragile wings of theirs.

Sometimes when I knock a weapon out of a enemy's hand they say "this is hopeless!" only rarely though and its easy to miss.

That's where the RCW comes in.
It has a lot of ammo, does wonderful damage and is fairly accurate.

I see human enemies run away all the time. They only run a short distance behind a rock or something then crouch/cower like they're hiding. Useful when mobbed since they stop shooting and thus you can focus on others, then go back and finish off the cowards. :D

They should get more excercise. I'm really worried about the increasing obesity of the cazador youth in this fine nation. Their growing negligence of their general health and fitness will reflect upon the forthcoming generations in a harmuf manner. :shakehead:

I can't help but feel like everyone above this post was trolled and didn't even know. This game has a M or T rating, and this person is afraid of Cazador? Ghouls, Super Mutants, Molerats and numerous other vile creatures are far more disturbing. Nice try LOL.

Erm... There is a thread in the Skyrim forum where someone has arachnophobia.
Arachnophobia means fear of spiders.
Some people can't stand bugs yknow.

Cazadore : Fallout New Vegas :: Cliffracer : Morrowind.

Cliff racers were an annoyance, cazadors add a good challenge to the game. They are literally glass cannons, have very little health but do heavy damage and their poison only adds to it. You only encounter them after you do the southern loop that the game sends you on and by then you should be able to take on a few of the younger ones you'll find. They are like low HP deathclaws that the game scatters around the map in medium and high level areas that provide a challenge to all characters, of course not the same amount of challenge to all levels but I still cringe a little when I see those fast moving little red markers on my HUD with my level 30 energy weapons character. They are a good thing.

To kill them aim for there wings early on.
Carry around a fast DPS weapon like a 9mm / 10mm smg.
Also keep hollow point ammo ( HP ) just for them.

I bet good money it's the same poster that made a thread here about arachnophopbia, two - three months before NV got released.
Most made rude and unfunny coments then, I doubt TeS skyrim is much different.
Actually less guns = less flamethrowers, or that may just be the Morrowind / Oblivion forum.
