I hate to say it but this game is very lacking!

The voice acting and writing is a lot better IMO and it sounds like there is more than six voice actors this time around

:D makes me think of Oblivion where they had only 2 voice actors it seemed...;)

Your opinions are wrong. I know that this is a good game. I am not like "in my opinion". My word is the fact. My opinions are right. Fallout; New Vegas is awesome. If you disagree, well, i quess you like being wrong. let's see if people can understand sarcasm here better than the guys on blizzard forums.

Best dlc ever

Agreed. I'm thoroughly enjoying FO:NV.

It'd be nice if they had a different tabs for all the crafting materials and ammo supplies, kinda clutters things up.

It's much more thought out.

You wanna talk about lazy? How about just picking up all the factions on the West coast and transplanting them ALL to the East coast?

The Enclave, Super Mutants, AND the Brotherhood? Really?

Though the execution is lacking (bugs, glitches) I feel like a lot more care and thought was put into the ideas behind the game.

This feels more like a real Fallout 3 for me.

There is plenty of new music, a more varied voice acting so far anyway which i was pleasently surprised by not to mention it adheres much more to the fallout 1 and 2 with the lower amounts of loot though there's still plenty imo.

One problem however is that i want to see my hunger and thirst meter so guessing Darnfield ui mod will be a must *sigh*. I've experiance very few bugs besides those already in fo3 e.g. floting skeletons on items lol.

I do agree with teh lack of critters hunting me so far anyway though im still really early in 10hr~ mark.

Also anyone know what the strange things perk does i've avoided it this play through.

Which console?

360. No overheating with other games, cleared cache, installed to HD... 7 freezes in 9 hours of gaming, plus problems with opening movie due to top of screen distortion.

When you can't program a stable product for a console, where there's none of the hardware/software variability you get on a PC, then you can't program. Ob really needs to look at their Xbox team.

First off let me start out by saying I put over 600+ hrs into FO3 I pretty much memorized the game. But Fallout New Vegas is so bad that I am just going through the motions just to beat the game. Mobs are far and few in between so there is no real danger roaming the wastes! Almost every building I explored so far is full of junk! Unlike FO3 where I would find many item of value. FNV just makes me think exploring buildings is a waste of time. The voice talent in this game is very lack luster it seems like the hired anyone off the street. WAY TOO MANY THINGS RECYCLED FROM FO3! From the models to the music. In my opinion Bethesda hired Obsidian to rush this recycled game to market just to make a quick buck off the Fallout name.

P.S. This game has way too many glitches I could write a 5 page report on all the glitches in this game!

you know, i bet you are going to get a lot of people replying to you in a negative way about your 100% honest comments. i however, will not be one of them. no joke, i played over 2000 hours of F3, 1200 of those hours was devoted to a single play. you know why? because i loved exploring every nook and cranny the Capital Wasteland and the tunnels had to offer. i am playing on the PS3 system and i do not lie when i say that less than 20 hours in a have already experienced so many problems and glitches such as: packs of super mutants(not the nice ones) strolling right by me, without giving me a second glance, being unable to pick up a unique version of a weapon that weighs only 6 pounds and have the skill level to use, it just sits there right in front of me, but i cannot pick it up. companions disappearing for long periods and then just popping up out of nowhere. people floating on ceilings, and at times, for no reason, i cannot enter V.A.T.S. mode. and what really does bug me as well is my INT. is 7, but why is it that levels 2,4,6,8, i get 14 skill points to use, and levels 3,5,7,9, i get 13? that makes no sense to me. i have read many PS3 users do not even have the option of 'very easy' or 'very hard' mode, and yet i do, so why do some have it and others not? and lastly Soulwatcher, i agree with you that so far, i have located about 45 locations on the map, and they are nearly ALL filled with burnt books and clipboards. don't get me wrong, i would neither expect or want to find tons of weapons, ammo, ect. at every single location i come across. but in F3 there was usually always something that made the time i spent searching every last crevice of cave or building, worthwhile. i am in NO WAY trying to bring down those of you who loved and still love the game from the moment you started, but it seems that there are many people like myself and Soulwatcher dealing with constant crashes or screen freezes or all the other crap we have had to put up with so far. i think if i spend close to $100(canadian) on a game, i deserve to play that with very few problems. anyway, i said my piece, Soulwatcher, respect to you for being so brutally honest. :goodjob:

Actually it reminds me of the first two Fallout games where you wander around in a vast empty wasteland.

Too bad all of the junk you find is worthless compared to Fallout 3 where it was rare and you could actually make things with it.

Well, random crap happens to you while wandering the waste.
SPOILER ALERT
Once I found Idiana Jones inside a refrigerator (dead of course.) Its a reference to one of the Indy movies where Indiana Jones finds himself at a nuclear Bomb testing site (I think) and he hops into a refrigerator to survive. To bad this one didn't live, hes deader then dodo.
END OF SPOILER

It's funny to see people not being able to find things... well in FONV you have to look, yes it isn't handed to you, you have to actually try! Look under something (grab an object and move it), look in the dark corners, behind a door.... yes that is where you will find goods.. if you can't find anything that is YOU user error, not the game

wow, you have such 'vast' knowledge about finding things. i wish i was as good a player as you. did i say i wanted weapons just thrown at my feet? no i didn't. but it is kind of hard to obtain a weapon or item that is HALFWAY FALLEN THROUGH THE DAMN FLOOR OR FUSED IN A CHUNK OF ROCK! that is NOT MY error, that IS the GAMES error, thank you.

Not only that, New Vegas manages to add a plethora of new factions to the mix, with the old ones kinda along for the ride. I loved how each Raider gang was it's own faction, with its own quirks and look to it.

Really, playing Fallout 3 I didn't mind the Brotherhood, Enclave, and Super Mutants...but playing New Vegas, where I'm interacting with the Kings, Chairmen, White Glove Society, Omertas, Van Gaffs, Crimson Caravan, the Powder Gangers, etc...it just feels like a richer experience.

Donno about the "Worthless junk" comments. I find myself snatching up every wrench, roll of duct tape, scrap metal, wonderglue and junked electronics I see. Weapon Repair Kits are keeping my rare and expensive weapons in good condition. Doctor's Bags, that are vital in "hardcoe" mode, also require a assortment of junk items to make.
