Mobs are far and few in between so there is no real danger roaming the wastes!
That'll change.Wait till you hit the swarms of Mutated Mosquito Like creatures, Nightstalkers, and Assassin Hit Squads.
Almost every building I explored so far is full of junk! Unlike FO3 where I would find many item of value. FNV just makes me think exploring buildings is a waste of time.
Yeah, it's almost like it's been 200 years since the bombs fell, in a lightly hit area, that's been picked clean by scavengers/survivors. At the same time, that's not to say it's a waste of time to poke around these buildings. You'll still find plenty of choice loot, if you're willing to look for it.
The voice talent in this game is very lack luster it seems like the hired anyone off the street. WAY TOO MANY THINGS RECYCLED FROM FO3! From the models to the music. In my opinion Bethesda hired Obsidian to rush this recycled game to market just to make a quick buck off the Fallout name.
If anything, the Voice Talent in New Vegas is more varied then that of Fallout 3.
And also, what were people honestly expecting from a game with a subtitle but no number? In gaming, that generally means "Independent Adventure utilizing pre-existing resources". It's like Vice City or San Andreas.
