I have 250 mb/s cable

I am getting max 300 kb/s download at 12 CET (6am EST) in Switzerland

That will be a 20 hour download

I play LOTS of online games with absolutely no problems

Ask your internet provider. Most probably the 250mb/s transfer is only on the cable and after it is restricted to 1mb/s.

You can also use some tools to measure network speed.

After upload is complete 1mb/s should be enough to play the game.

Could be a number of things.

But as I'm seeing a number of people outside NA having similar troubles, and nobody in NA saying anything about it... I'm guessing there's a problem somewhere in EU.

and sure there could be problem with one milion of people downloading the game at this time with small number (like me) who did it few days before.

I did upload in few hours (actually did not measured it, but it was some 3 or 4 - not more) with 80mb/s.

I pre-installed the game 2-3 days ago

Just tested my con - took 34 seconds to dowload 1GB - while the game was downloading in the background nota bene

Maybe there's a problem with the atlantic cable

Does anyone have the IP of the download server so I can traceroute it?

I hope it's not going via FranceTelecom cos if so then that's the problem...

Haha don't get me wrong. I love the french, the country, the language, the food, the wine, all of it, but if you'd ever played an online game which had been routed or hosted by FranceTelecom you'd know the true meaning of despair

I got 100mb and my stable download was at 30-35mb/s, im in portugal btw. So I'm unsure if the underwater cable passes through here or something, but that was my top download speed ever.
