Out of curiosity, is anyone aware of a mod that creates additional random Oblivion planes? I have a mod, "Open All the Gates", that lets you decide how many Gates can open during the Main Quest. The problem is, only 7 random Oblivion worlds are available, and going to the same 7 over and over again gets old fast.

I haven't had any luck finding any mods that add extra Oblivion Plane worlds. If anyone has created such a mod, and is willing to do so, I'd be very interested in adding those new planes into my mod!

There was a project started aiming to do just this, I don't know how far it got. The idea was to get a large number of modders to make a plane or two each and combine them all together to have a large selection of new planes. Some of the screenshots looked promising. The thread disappeared quite some time ago and I assume that it was abandoned.

That project moved over to TES Alliance, where I think it became dormant. I don't think they've abandoned it but there hasn't been any activity on it in a long time.

Yes...I can recall what a big deal it was going to be...it just never happened.
