Have any PC fans changed their minds about platform?

Post » Thu Oct 13, 2011 8:57 am

I don't own a Television. So console is not even an option for me. It's PC for me, by default.

*mouth hits floor in amazement, shortness of breath then passes out*.......... (5 minutes later) WHAT?!

OT: Still PC for me although for the longest time I was thinking about the 360 version

Nope. Also I like pie. Pie's great, isn't it? Especially pecan pie. I'm going to try to make a pecan pie this year for Thanksgiving. I never made one before so I expect it to be quite a challenge. I haven't gotten around to looking for recipes yet. I know it involves pecans, syrup and some kind of crust. Maybe some cinnamon or brown sugar for added flavor. Oh, and icecream to go with it. I sure wish I could find some Bluebell icecream. They don't sell it around here. Only in certain places in the south.

Sorry if I'm boring you with all this talk of pie and icecream. Unfortunately without being able to explain my reasons for sticking to the PC version this would have only been a one word post.

This made me feckin' lol.

No reason? Isn't this a forum where people come to voice their opinions? And on that note, PC all the way! TES started on the PC, and is optimized for the PC. Why anyone would change to a console is beyond me. Why would you limit your gameplay, especially when we are paying so much for it?

Sticking with the PC... Poll wouldn't sway Bethesda at all.

There's no reason for me to change my mind. The PC version still has the better graphics and all that, and http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1237552-good-news-for-skyrim-modders-mods-and-people-who-love-them/ shows Bethesda is very welcoming to the modding community once again, so that won't be an issue either.

Hello,

I'll be purchasing for PC only. Isn't the Creation Kit the real game?

Best regards.

Staying with my pc, I need no other reason than it's my favorite way to game.

I'll play my modded Skyrim on the PC, as I did with previous titles. I'd tell you why I was going to play my modded Skyrim on the PC, but apparently stating reasons is against the rules so why I chose the PC for my modded Skyrim shall remain a mystery wrapped in an enigma being bashed over the head by a conundrum.

I have a PS3 too, but have seen no reason to buy Skyrim for it instead of PC.

I really don't understand this topic? How can you really give an answer, but not say why? Very strange.

I own PC, 360 and PS3. I planned to get the PC originally, and still intend to, though I am a bit more leery about it then I originally was.
