I have a barrel from a real Fallout shelter

The Dept. of Defense stocked up this fallout shelter in Seattle in December of 1962. There was a very real threat of Nuclear war with the Cuban missle crisis.

I have a water barrel from the fallout shelter... it is interesting having a real piece of fallout in my RL inventory.

Yeah that was rather close. How did you get the barrel?


The place used to be a church that I went to and they were remodling it. Lots of stuff got thrown away.
