If we have beards now...

Post » Wed Jan 05, 2011 4:10 pm

I'd say no because as people have stated, reptile don't have hair. However, maybe there could be an easter egg where one argonian has glued hair onto his face to try and get a beard, wouldn't that be interesting?

I'd look silly with a beard.

Seems some people didn't actually read the original post:
So...it's been confirmed that you will get to have beards in Skyrim; this poses the serious question of whether or not I will be able to give my Argonian characters a beard. They obviously couldn't have actual hair (or COULD THEY?), but they already have a series of spikes and fins on their head s 'hair.' Therefore, they can have have beards.

I don't play the beast races but I'm all for additional character customization. I really do love a good, robust character creator such as Aion's.

I voted maybe, because they could have chin spikes.

Could be something other unique to their race, like skin pattern or whatever.

No they'll have really cool fin beards or http://www.scom.unsw.edu.au/LIFE/Environment/National_park/bearded_close_full.jpg.

Khajiit men can have manes, great flowing manes.

That would be so awesome.

Depends on the breed of Argonian I guess. It is true that they go from very humanoid to dragon like looks, size, and power depending on the proximity to the Hist trees. So if it is one of the more humanoid kinds it is possible.

That's the most adorable lizard I've ever seen. I'm up for more "lizardy" beards, but just having normal hair would look a bit ridiculous, imo.

What he/she said!

But it would look kind of silly nonetheless I think... It would be too solid to look like a bear :-| So I say they give something unique to Argonians, instead of the possible "beard slider".

i doubt argonians will have beards, but they'll probably either have an equivalent of a beard, or some other feature that no other race will have in place of beards.

I wonder if we'll see beards on Dark Elves. Full Nord-like beards would be weird, but something like http://images.uesp.net//2/2e/MW-npc-BolvynVenimFull.jpg from Morrowind would rule.
