I have become bored...

Yeah, so I have become completely bored with this game and all I do is massacre people in every town until I get bored. What do you guys do when you feel there is nothing else to do?

take the game out, sigh, and place in a new game. Done. That or be with my gf or friends. New Vegas is nothing like F3, where the random encounters, challenging leveling enemies, and good ambushes made it a worthwhile game to play for hours. New Vegas...well...is New Vegas.

for the games I reccemmond, play Bioshock, 1 and 2, the Darkness, Halo 3 I suppose, or any of the Halo series, The Orange Box, F3, or any other game to keep you busy. (got a PS3? too bad for you)

or a Book.

It might be time to retire dude. Did you make more characters and do things you did not do before? Do you have all dlc?

Play an Explosives only character. (No guns, no melee, no unarmed and no energy weapons, I'm talking about explosives exclusively, NOTHING ELSE.)
Try it, it's fun in a new way.

Get the DLC for it, there are three now and one more on the way.

If you have not played the Originals, go out and play Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics. You can by them/download them really cheap.

I never play until I'm tired of a game. I keep different games going and jump around. Last night I felt like going to Tamriel after Arcade decided he wanted to help the Courier in the upcoming battle. Now we have to visit all the Remnants. I had been playing for a while and didn't feel like doing it right then, so I went to Tamriel and closed an Oblvion Gate. Fortify Blunt +12 was my Sigil Stone. :)

I have a Portal 2 going too and a FO3 and will jump around to whatever I feel like playing. Have you tried that until your next big game arrives? I'm sure it's not for everyone though.

Take a break. I took a 8 month Break from fallout and gaming all together, it was real nice. I came back to fallout, and it almost felt like a new game.

Also, if you don't have any of the DLC try that... It will make the game much much much much more enjoyable. The loot you get from the DLC is almost worth painstaking going through the boring quests.

I advise doing these DLC in this order.

Dead Money
Old World Blues
Honest Hearts

It also depends on how you play. I like Having a "Handicap" when I play... such as I make Speech at like 10. and I play that way through out the entire game... or something along those lnes. Try to have 1 Character Achieve every "trophy". Try to experiment with characters. Make 1 incredible at healing/Science but a lousy at fighting..
