Tinfoil hat time, everyone! We all thought the big reveal of Fallout 3 was that the Enclave's president, John Henry Eden, was a robot. But what if I told you it wasn't? What if I told you that the only word we have that Eden is a sentiment computer is his word? And what if his words were programmed by... Doctor Madison Li?
Absurd, you say? Well, who was there when you mother "accidently" died during childbirth, in the year 2258? Doctor Li. She knew that the Enclave hadn't fully transferred from the West to East coast, and she couldn't afford the Brotherhood to take control of the Wastes until she was ready. So she decided to delay to project... by killing your mother. Unfortunately, her plan works too well. Rather than delay the project, she destroys it and the team disbands when they fail to produce results without the GECK.

Fast forward 19 years. Dr. Li maintained deep cover as a hydroponics expert in Rivet City, ousting Pinkerton and taking his seat on the council. She has moved on from Project Purity and is looking for another way to announce the Enclave when your father and you arrive. Not wanting interference she sent both of you to the Jefferson Memorial. A location overrun with Supermutants. Clearly she expected you to both meet your death there.

It isn't until you return with your father that she realizes that Project Purity may become a reality with the GECK. And that is how, when you are trapped in a sewer, the Enclave knew to show up at just the right time. They seized control of the Facility, and Dr. Li uses this as an opportunity to waltz right into the middle of her greatest threat's base - the Citadel. She was able to learn the location of the GECK and had Colonel Autumn intercept you at just the right time.

From here Dr. Li hoped to take control of the Capital Wasteland. And she might have too, were it not for Colonel Autumn's betrayal. Once he mutinied Dr. Li was furious. But she had an advantage over him. She knew how to active a nearly invincible giant Patriotic robot. You didn't really think a lowly hydroponics expect could do that, do you? Once her revenge was complete she knew that her chance for the Capital Wasteland had passed. So, she travelled north. For she had heard of a place known as The Institute that might let her rise to power. And that how the next Fallout is going to be about stopping Dr. Li's power grab and avenging your mother's death...

Really now. And what informed sources have given you this information? First of all, there's absolutely no indication of her nefarious plot line in Fallout 3 anywhere. Secondly, it most likely won't be a continuation of Fallout 3 but will be a completely brand new story with a new character, like New Vegas was. It would cause too many headaches when people realized that they couldn't import their old character into the new game. Bethesda couldn't exactly come up with a balanced game for new players if they also had to deal with level 30 characters from Fallout 3.

Yeah no. This isn't even tin foil hat worthy. Every great conspiracy has some truth in it. This has none.
