I have finished the game in 260 hours.

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:31 am

Have a platinum trophy on the PS3.

Completed all of the quests that one character can do including all the Radiant quests at least once.

Explored all the locations. Cleared all the dungeons. The only thing I didn't do is create all the weapons because I didn't put points into Smithing and Enchanting. I am also not max level because I ran out of places to go. The only quests I did not complete are six that are bugged and cannot be completed without starting new characters.

I guess this thread is for those that want a rough estimate on how long it will take to complete the game. I did a lot of lollygagging so my guess is that you could easily complete everything in around 200 hours if you went for speed.

I'm ready for some DLC Bethesda!

Impressive. I'm 203 hrs in, but I'm still missing a few cheevos. How many locations have you discovered? I'm at 339, and I have not been able to find a full count.

You do realize this means you've only been off the game for 90 hours out of 336 hrs in two weeks. That's [censored] up! loooooooooololol

No it means I spent about 55% of each day playing Skyrim.

I played for 260 out of 480 hours.

Nice, it's amazing how different people's experiences with the game can be. I've put about 120 hours in since release. I haven't touched any guild and have only scratched the surface on dungeons. The bottom line is the same though, hundreds of hours of fun.

I've just hit level 81 myself, and haven't finished clearing the dungeons... Admittedly I planned for it since level 1 and used training sessions to raise skills I knew i wouldnt use much (two-handed, heavy armor, block mainly) so I wouldnt have to grind those and have a hellish level 77-81 experience. I was clearly going for a JOAT.

I'm curious what level you reached? And how focused was your build?

Grats on beating Skyrim regardless, I hope mods make you want to play it again :)

Level 52 and I didn't use any trainers. For 80% of the game I used weapons or skills that I already reached max level on so I was losing out on a lot of "leveling". I saved all of my items in one chest (It takes my chest a little over a minute to load and place items in). I saved up all my coin until the end and never sold a single item and had just over 120k. I probably have ten times that in item worth.

I only spent coin on houses and house upgrades when available and potions in the first few hours to help me along.

My build was 1 handed sword and Destruction/Restoration/Conjuration magic on the other. Light armor. Sneak. Speech. Pick-pocketing.

I have 30 unused dragon souls.

My save file is 17MB.

I'm almost at 100 hrs since release and still haven't finished the main quest LoL I still have a lot of the map unexplored as well. Trying to take it slow and enjoy the game... Also, trying not to do everything so I have more motivation to do another play through.

Congrats to the OP though! Awesome job!

I must ask: Are you satisfied? Do you think you would stick in the same savefile around doing random stuff with no dlc? Would you start another character?

My 360 has gotten a lot of use since the 11th, I think I'm somewhere around 85 hours and haven't started with the dragons yet. Only college I've been to is the bard college. I lost my life when I bought this game! :celebration:

I am bummed that there is no way to re-spec perk points.

I don't have the motivation or energy to start another character at this point. I consider the game "done". I may put in another hour just walking around and admiring all my work, but I have lost motivation to go out and kill the same re-spawned mobs over and over to finish leveling all the skills I didn't use.

I am satisfied. I think the voice acting was horrible though and I would of rather seen it omitted entirely. They probably could of had ten times as many quests if they didn't feel the need to add voice acting to all of them. The quests were all pretty similar in a way so I think Bethesda could of pumped them out by the thousands if they didn't need voice acting. I was kind of expecting more types of mobs. I can probably count the total different types of mobs on two hands. I think they left a lot of room for DLC because there was some factions that had little to no content, and others that had too much. The story of how some guilds continue on in the future I hope makes it into the DLC as well.

The only thing I might log back in for is to sell off my items and organize my book collection (And actually read them).
