Greetings all! It's been a while, but I've never forgotten the best online gaming community I've ever been honored to be a part of!

As some may recall, my Morrowind PC bit the bullet last year and I haven't been able to play my favorite RPG ever since. But my fortunes have recently taken a turn for the better, and I may at last be able to get a new PC. The thing is, I still have a relatively low budget (about $500.00). Still, I "only" need a tower and a Windows license, so I think I should be able to get what I need... maybe...

I did some preliminary searching the other day, and I thought I'd found something pretty good... until I realized that the Radeon R7 series is actually a line of integrated graphics, not discrete cards. But then I read a few things and discovered that today's integrated graphics (like the R7s) are significantly improved compared to their predecessors, and so I began to wonder if maybe I should consider one of these newer integrated architectures.

Have any of you tried running (heavily) modified Morrowind on any of these newer integrated architectures? I'd love to get some input from folks with experience in these matters. My suspicion is that, even though things have gotten better, integrated graphics are still not going to be good enough to run Morrowind with a lot of mods, particularly graphics overhauls like MGSO. But I could be wrong, and this seemed to be the best place to inquire.
