This is my second playing of Planescape: Torment and my first time of playing it with the intention of playing it all through. (I couldn't get into it the first time but started to like it a lot this time)

I'll try to keep it short:
I did p*ss of Scottlow Penn at the Printing shop twice to the extent that he locked the door on me. "Sh*t happens" I though and started to explore the lower ward and the Clerk's ward and made tons of sidequests and gained tons of XP and levels and all that. I found the key to the portal to the maze where the hag (I forgot her name now but you know) is supposed to be and I also found the sensory stone that hinted about the forming of steel which sound like the Foundry to me. It also happen to be the single only place I haven't got into and my only option. But when I couldn't get a quest to enter the damned place, after having run around the wards twohundred times and the hives also a few, I decided to try a way earlier save and take a printshop quest (the merchant and his paper) from when his door was open and behold the first thing I get is the Foundry quest and my entrance.

My question is: is my main quest botched in my later save or is there another way of getting into the Foundry though the Printing Shop door is closed? A short yes or no (spoiler free) will suffice as an answer cause I really went into this with the intention of playing it all without cheating.

Edit: Or if the answer is yes, BTW a low spoiler hint of if this another way has to do with getting into Penns shop or what? Cause I'm really running low on leads-

Nevermind. I Googled it sucessfully. Yeah there went my completely spoiler free playthrough *sigh*. Well I can continue on my new save at least.
