I have noticed something strange in Apocrypha and Winterhold

The other day, I was in Apocrypha. I observed the books at the beginnings and ends of the "chapters" and banners hanging from the rafters and I noticed one thing: The characters on those banners were identical to those found on the Eye of Magnus. I found their prescence unusual because the Daedra have their own alphabet. Why would Hermaeus Mora have banners and books in his realm containing characters found on what could have been an Aedric(?) artifact?

This probably belongs in the Dragonborn section, although I thought this section was more appropriate for something like this.

It's the language that Xarxes (Auriel's former scribe) used ( I believe it's the language in the Oghma and Mysterium as well). It's probably some long lost Aedric language used in the Dawn era.

Interesting. I wonder why Herma-Mora would use that alphabet in his realm.
