I have reloaded everything and the ps3 still crashes

So I have had major problems with the latest DLCs: Lonesome Road, Couriers Stash, and Gun Runners. My game would play an hour or so without a restart until I loaded Lonesome Road, then I had to reload after 1/2 of an hour to an hour. After a long while I was able to beat Lonesome Road, but I was never able to complete all of the trophies due to the constant lock ups. I decided to purchase the Couriers Stash and Gun Runners so I could try and get those trophies. This brought my system to a halt whenever loading any of my saves. I contacted customer support via e-mail with no reply, something that no other company, no other game developer has ever done to me in my many years of playing video games and working as a computer tech. I decided to take it into my own hands after deciding that I would not waste my money on these 3 DLCs. I uninstalled everything New Vegas related and reinstalled everything. Nothing changed with my save games, and even new games have problems playing remotely properly. I then decided to install one DLC at a time, test in a busy area of the game with lots of enemies and action to slow the system. I have concluded that every DLC slows the game and causes freeze ups in an increasing manner. But none of them crash like having Lonesome Road, Couriers Stash and Gun Runners installed at the same time. It is so bad that my saves where I am already in action of some sort start mostly frozen, glitch and freeze completely in a matter of seconds. All of this, and Bethesda is releasing all of the DLCs with the game in one package, without fixing this problem. I have confirmed that this happens in new games as well, so how can they release a product that is even more buggy than the initial release of New Vegas, which was buggy as hell? Does anyone have any fixes? A secret way of installing the Game and DLCs that make it so these instant lock-ups do not happen. Anything would be great as this has deterred me from wanting to purchase Skyrim and any further Fallout games, of which I loved. Any help would be great since Bethesda does not admit there is a problem and they will not reply to my tech support requests. I have pre-ordered all three PS3 role playing Bethesda games and purchased all of the DLC for them as they came out. I was a loyal customer, but with each new game, the bugs get worse and the support is non existent. Do they not care for their fans that support them?

I have the Metal Gear PS3 (not the fancy one) and I have had 0 problems playing ANY other PS3 games that I have purchased. I am used to a time period that there was no way of updating console games because I have been playing video games since the early 80s and this is only new to this generation of consoles. How would this game have worked if there was no way to update it? What about the people that do not have internet connections that own PS3s and Xbox 360s that cannot update the game they purchased without taking it to a dealer or someone who has internet? I don't play PC games because I do not support Microsoft, and I do not play Macintosh games because my computer is for high end audio production only, so I am left with my favorite type of games, console games, but it feels like this is a PC game that was never meant to work on a PS3.

What can I do? Does anyone have any answers that will help me? my email is revstate [at] gmail dot com if anyone has answers that they do not wish to answer publicly.

Please, no trolls or other rude or sarcastic b.s. that has no relevance to what I am asking.

Thanks in advance,

Ben.S.P.

so...

this was the reply that I received:

Hello Benjamin,
We are sorry that you are having freezing issues with the Fallout: New Vegas DLC. Our next suggestion would be to perform the troubleshooting steps listed below:

1. Problems may arise if you have been playing the game for an extended period of time. Let the system cool down, then try running the game.
2. Please make sure that you have the most recent update for your PS3 console.
3. Remove the game data from the Playstation 3 Hard Drive. Files in the Game Data Utility folder, are saved settings for a game (i.e., controller preferences, brightness settings, etc.). These steps will NOT delete your save games. To remove a game data file from the PLAYSTATION 3:

a. In the XMB home menu, go to (Game) > [Game Data Utility].
Important: Make sure you select [Game Data Utility]. Do NOT select [Saved Data Utility], as this will delete all of your saved games files.
b. Highlight the game data utility file (i.e., name of a particular game you have been playing) you wish to delete.
c. Press the button and select [Delete].
d. Highlight "Yes" and press the button to confirm the deletion.
e. A message indicating the file is being deleted will appear.
f. A "Delete completed." message will appear once the file has been successfully deleted.

4. Try running it from another console. If the game works properly on another system, you may want to contact Sony to find out more about getting your PlayStation 3 serviced. If the game fails to run on multiple consoles, contact our Technical Support representatives for further assistance.

If you still have the issue after taking these steps let us know:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After I had already told them that I did all of this and more in testing since they only reply after days of waiting and it's a generic email response. No, they have not replied after I told them I was still having the issue(s).

Fun.
